German bread?
Isn’t a döner made with Turkish bread?
Turkish bread is really large, like a pizza. Döner usually is made with pita or similar buns. I’m guessing the German bread mentioned here is something much larger.
Buns are a scam. Proper Döner is made using a fluffy “flat bread” (yes, it is pizza sized) that gets cut into quarters and then sliced open.
