I have a box for deliveries next to my garage. I put a big sign on the lid of the box so you can see it when you walk up the driveway, but not from the street. Still, some of my deliveries get taken to the front door despite my instructions I entered into their app.

This is a great idea. I wonder if some delivery persons are approaching from the other side of the house and walking across the yard. I think I might see if I can order a custom door mat with an arrow pointing towards the box…

I agree. I remember when I discovered Ghost. They quickly became one of my favorites. I let my dad listen to it and he loved it too. He said it sounded like “old-school metal”. When I asked what he meant he said “this is what metal used to sound like. When death metal became popular around the 90’s everything got harder. And death metal became metal and old metal became hard rock.”

My dad was in Germany when Star Wars came out. He didn’t understand a bit of German. But he still watched and said it was awesome. Especially Darth Vader with a deep German voice.

This reminds me of the time the police got called to an office building because someone saw a man with a rifle in one of the windows. Turns out it was a gaming studio, and the man was a human-size cardboard cutout advertising Battlefield or some similar first person shooter.

Actually it’s a little bit of both. Some devices use an an audio stream that is encoded kind of like a normal digital audio signal where the bits go up in the encoded audio when you turn up the volume and so does the output. Other devices send a full level audio signal and send a separate control signal which tells the device to turn the volume up or down. If you push the volume button on the receiver and it shows the volume on the source (your phone) going up or down in sync with it, then it’s the latter.

For me it turned out to be anxiety panic attacks. I started taking anti-anxiety medication and I haven’t had any in years.

I was at a theme park a little ago and really in need of a cup of coffee. So I strolled into their Starbucks sponsored coffee shop because that’s all there was. And sure enough, they were advertising various drinks, coffees, with protein added.
