Just a below average idiot that mostly comments for one of 3 reasons:

Catharsis, expressing exasperation over the general state of things.

Looking to make someone laugh.

Self deprecation.

  • Two of their biggest mistakes were: one, essentially hiding the fact that the single player game Squadron 42 has taken the lions share of the development focus for the last 6+ years. This makes it appear like they just don’t know what they’re doing at all with star citizen and that’s why they’re slow (they still don’t 100% know what they’re doing).

Second, they made their sound design guy who was just interested in being a pilot and eventually learned how, to be their lead ship performance/gameplay director/developer (not sure exactly on the title name.) that has lead to the ships just not flying how people want or expect them to. That and Chris Roberts wants “WWII, star wars, type dogfights” when people want Newtonian physics, excess speed, fighting.

A special third I suppose: they need money to continue, I get that, but there is a special place in hell for their marketing team.

  • This is probably one of the few places my job doesn’t do it horribly.

Any gifts that aren’t perishable get saved up and then before Christmas we do a grab bag type thing where we all take a number and pick a “present” from the swag we’ve been sent.

The only way they do it “wrong” is that the perishables (usually cookies) always go to the office and we never get them on the factory floor! I want cookies DAMNIT!! Lol

It’s a failure of terms used in US politics. When we say “left” and “right” we pretty much exclusively are talking about their position in respect to one another as opposed to the actual policies the parties hold.

Republicans are much more “conservative” (right wing) than Democrats (liberals) are, so the Republicans are the right and the Democrats become the “left” as they aren’t as conservative and therefore they are “to the left” of Republicans.

If you were to look at global definitions as to what it means to be a left wing party, Democrats really don’t fit there.

I definitely feel for you guys in Europe, a lot of tough arguments to be had with employers coming up… If I understand correctly AC isn’t that common because it historically hasn’t been as necessary as it has been in the US. The future unfortunately is looking to make it necessary pretty much everywhere :(

It’s a small enough company that decisions that involve any expensive expansions go to the owner. He’s already denied a request to set up a few fans near the ceiling to get airflow from one side of the building out to the other so anything like an actual a/c are out of the question.

The general response is “we told you it gets bad in the summer, if you don’t like it there are plenty of doors to walk out of.”

I’m in NY and that’s the language I was able to find in the states laws regarding factory conditions, but it’s not really regulated since their only stated “metric” is a completely vague, subjective amount: “reasonable.”

Nowhere in the language do they define reasonable, and when I reached out to my “representative” asking for clarification they never responded, naturally lol
