Not only are the countries he is saying have “fine” refugees don’t even speak English as an official language, Africa as a continent has the largest amount of countries that speak English:

Most other African countries speak French, Spanish or another European language as an official language. So what is the issue here? Many Africans have immigrated to Western countries and have integrated fine. It’s insane that Twitch is allowing this kind of rhetoric to be displayed in full velocity on this platform.

Oh really, you don’t see anything racist or xenophobic about taking refugees from white skinned countries, but refusing ones from dark skinned countries?

It’s about cultural similarity not skin colour. Skin pigmentation doesn’t affect anything but the culture you grow up in matters a lot in how easy it is for someone to integrate into a new one.

Hypothetically, if you were in charge of screening immigrants, what kind of culture would you refuse?

Seeing the reality that some cultures are harder to integrate is not the same as refusing them. Similar to how unruly children need more attention from teachers than studious ones, some people likely need more help with integration and learning local customs.

That’s fair. I’m not trying to defend asmon just pointing out that there is nuance to it
