The taste is just plain dreadful. Not only is it bitter, the whole “sweet” part doesn’t even taste like the usual sweet you think of. Like lemonade, yes it is perfectly sweet. Soda beverages, THAT’S sweet. But TEA, awful. And it’s like no matter how many sweetener packets you put in it, it doesn’t at all help. It’s one of those drinks where you might give it another chance if it’s available thinking it might be better but it always lets you down.

    If it’s bitter at all, then it’s not really sweet tea.

    You seem to be drinking sweetened tea or Southern style sweet tea. A real sweet tea is a type of tea, not your typical black tea with a lotta sugar in it 🤣

    Try white tea or most green teas other than matcha. It’s actually sweet on its own.

        Sounds like you’ve never tried white tea. Or simpy prescribe to what Southern Americans call their sweetened tea. Because the tea used for that ain’t sweet without the sugar it’s brewed with.
