3·2 months agoI’ll meet with management in person next week. I only emailed them last time. More importantly I’ll make the case that it’s a matter of property damage.

1·2 months agoI forgot to mention: THERE’S A GYM IN THE FUCKING BUILDING. Granted, there’s no squat rack but I’ve seen plenty of big dudes work out there. If that wasn’t enough, THERE’S A HUGE GYM A 5 MIN WALK FROM THE BUILDING.
This guy is just lazy as fuck. Him and his girl literally never get out of the house. I thought once I turned on the music he would avoid it by leaving for a few hours, but they never do. These people are fucking losers.

2·2 months agoI’ll remember for the future. It started off small and then it just snowballed

2·2 months agoAs the OP, the girl of the couple that lives above me does this too. Not all day but when she’s off to work or getting home. Like why don’t you leave your heels at the door? Does not give a fuck

1·2 months agoFair enough. But it’s not 1v1. He will give in for his girl or they will have to move out, and I can now tell they’ve become exasperated

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What did you or your partner stop doing after the honeymoon phase?

23·2 months agoI don’t think this is the type of individual that wishes to engage in good faith communication. What kind of person thinks it’s reasonable to deadlift over someone’s bedroom 630 in the morning?

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How come some people can work 8 hours straight and then have energy to hit the gym, but if I walk for 1 hour in the treadmil all that I can is lay down for the rest of the day?
9·2 months agoGoing to the gym during your lunchbreak is also possible. I used to not think so until I actually tried it. I got to the gym as quick as I could even cheated a few minutes. I got a 30-40 minute workout in and then went to the cafeteria (company served food) or ate my lunch I made from home in the 20 minutes I had left. It was a bit hectic but I got used to it believe it or not.
The key is to start small. Don’t do 30 min like I did. Get in. Do 10 minutes. If you can go more, keep going. If not, call it a day. You’re already better for just showing up.

3·2 months agoI’ll keep it in mind but the police in my area are known to be lackadaisical

5·2 months agoIt’s both. He deadlifts maybe once or twice a week. The rest sounds like dumbbells. The deadlifts are the loudest and I can tell he’s a big dude because the floor creaks everywhere he walks

3·2 months agoThe weights aren’t falling. He’s bouncing them on each rep and then dropping the weights on the last rep like he’s at the fucking gym

The music is working now because they’re getting little sleep now now that I’ve stopped giving them a break here and there. I have a lot more endurance when it comes to operating with little sleep. These idiots fucked with the wrong person LMAO
Having said that, I am going to meet with management in person. When I originally contacted them it was via email, which probably made it easy for them to deflect it. I won’t make it a noise issue but a matter of property damage that should be within their interests.
