Very true. I do remember a lot of fear even in the rural south east where I was. The terror was inescapable if you turned on the TV or looked at a newspaper/magazine rack. Insane times.

With the exception of those grieving, a lot of it felt performative on Sept 12 2001.

I don’t mind the taste if somebody else is buying, but the acid reflux is GUARANTEED.

Hell, the website I get knitting patterns from has the same situation. The top 1% of designers make all the dough. But it’s great to have a platform that anybody can submit patterns to. The top designers pay the bills and they keep people coming back.
