Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•my bf says sleeping with your balls out is the male equivalent
3·14 days agoFuzzy sheets, a couple thick blankets, and a huge dog means it’s never too cold while sleeping. But also we’re in California so we have pretty mild winters overall too

981·14 days agoWife and I have been full naked sleepers the entire time we’ve known each other; sleeping with clothes on seems so strange

Apple@lemmy.world•Apple Releases iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 (macOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, & HomePod software too)
1·18 days agoWe’re using Jamf and it makes it at least tolerable. Make sure to get Apple Business Manager going so you can load devices in as Supervised, otherwise you lose the little forced update controls you have. But yeah when Intune looks like the reasonable solution it’s all bad.

Apple@lemmy.world•Apple Releases iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 (macOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, & HomePod software too)
6·18 days agoOh haha no this is hundreds of iPads across a number of locations, and a lot more harassing folks than I’d like to get their devices turned on so they can update and meet our audit requirements.
You would think if I’ve had to contact your department the last three updates in a row to get it done, and the only check ins I see for months are during the updates, maaaaybe your team doesn’t actually need these devices, Brad, but no their VP just has to have them.

Apple@lemmy.world•Apple Releases iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 (macOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, & HomePod software too)
13·18 days agoIn a perfectly timed release, I just got the last iPad in our fleet onto 26.2.1 this morning so of course 26.3 dropped 30 minutes later.

Games@lemmy.world•What's a recent game you've tried playing that isn't worth the hype?English
2·4 months ago4e did some really cool stuff while also going a bit off the rails for me. I think overall I like 5E more, but we played a ton of 4e and I’ll always remember it fondly. I was really into the more defined roles, and how classes were a bit more self contained so they could just keep making more and more niche ones

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Belkin is killing off parts of the Wemo LineEnglish
12·8 months agoA lot of our light switches and smart plugs are pre HomeKit WeMos and this is super frustrating. They weren’t a great product but we had them and they worked well enough, but Belkin’s on my fuck off list now.
Traveler’s Rest looks like it has some legs, thanks for that rec!

Games@lemmy.world•The Witcher 4 Developer Calls Xbox Series X "Extremely Challenging" for 60FPSEnglish
2·9 months agoMicrosoft’s walked this back for a few games now, BG3 being the largest, and I’d bet a lot try at Witcher 4 will get that same bump.
Edit: even then, the X wasn’t an FPS issue and games were hitting a stable 60 on that while shitting the bed on the S, so developing for the X is still not the problem.

Games@lemmy.world•The Witcher 4 Developer Calls Xbox Series X "Extremely Challenging" for 60FPSEnglish
2·9 months agoI get that but also due to how the Fediverse cross syncs, no one else has commented on it that I could see when I replied. Three responses on an asynchronous model really seems small overall.
. . . How many times are we talking here? Like a weird two nickels, or enough that it’s a really creepy coincidence?
