Same.
That said, never heard of fedora being a cult at all. Hell I feel it gets far less recognition than it should honestly for being cutting edge and stable.

Pretty sure this only works on x distros? wl-copy
and wl-paste
are for Wayland FYI.
I only have a work iPhone but man, control center has always looked bad to me. Then they just dialed it up to 11 with the transparency and colors.
Usability looks absolutely awful with this update.
I need to give this a go again. Tried it a while back but wasn’t impressed enough to keep it. Been using pulsar since which has mostly been nice.
I’ll be honest, Im not sure why theyre not releasing this as 11.x.
This seems to be a major update. From what I can tell there are API changes, plugins might not work, your entire db is converted to another format, etc.
I’m excited for it and thankful for all the work- just seems so big that it should be tagged 11.0.0
I mean, if youre continually updating files on remote take the time to learn vim. My God it’s a million times more efficient. Even using the keybindings in an ide makes sense.
That and Im not aware that rhel distros at all have nano built in. Nothing on a random rocky 9 box I randomly sshed into just now.
Maybe use tags for that but I’ve never personally messed with it.
Great write up. Thank you.
Which is funny. I get MLS season pass with my season ticket. I had to jump through so many hoops just to ACTIVATE this free thing. You can’t just visit a website. You need an account with a credit card. You either use an Apple device or iTunes. You can’t use their app on any platform (even the one youre going to use to watch it) to activate. Big thing is you cant even get iTunes on Linux without a huge hassle and wine. This isn’t even getting into that the android mobile app wasn’t even released till this year, like three years in.
The whole experience convinced me to NEVER buy anything Apple.
It has groups FYI. Set it under your specific connection settings.
I hear ya on RDP. Sadly I still need to use that at times so reminna is good.
Otherwise, I just use tmux. Colleagues use https://midnight-commander.org/ for SCP and stuff of you like. I prefer simple rsync and whatever but they seem to like it. Something to look into.
Self fulfilling prophecy.
When I think of the cost of that freedom it doesn’t seem too steep.
People want all the benefits but none of the responsibility, IMO.
I definitely see your viewpoint though.
Thanks for wasting mine and yours time. Blocked.
You’re still at this? Pathetic.
And who is punishing someone? I’m asking you to simply assign some blame to those responsible- nonvoters.
If that is “punishing” someone, then you yourself are “punishing” Democrats for their failure to garner more votes.
So moronic.
People like you are the reason we’re here- excusing all inaction. Great job.
Blah blah blah- it’s the Democrats, not the people who never turn out. And I mean ANY PRIMARY. Turns out there were PLENTY of people to vote for in the primary- just not the incumbent president. If any of those people were voted in maybe the Dems would have power to stop this insanity.
That is all your stuff boils down to though. It’s not the PEOPLE’S fault. It’s always “those guys over there.” Good luck with forever excusing apathy and see how far it gets you. I’m sure any day now it’ll turn around…
You guys are forever waiting for someone else to do something for you (ie. the Democrats.) It’s like training a dog- YOU have to put the work in. And by you I mean all the nonvoters. But hey- don’t listen to evidence that elections matter. Not like we had the ACA while imperfect that drastically improved fortunes for millions. But hey- everyone tuned right back out, didn’t show up to do anything to give Obama and co. more than a few months of a majority and thus we’re where we’re at now. Again- people didn’t show up.
But yeah- keep excusing them for not getting their pretty pony and being ok with them sitting out. It’s not their fault of course that they don’t vote in primaries. It’s because the party doesn’t somehow know how to capture every single little thing that 340 million people across a vast nation want. It’s the Democrats fault they don’t know what people want when people don’t take the sum total of an hour each year to go vote and let them know.
I’m not acting like there aren’t impediments to voting like voter suppression, etc. I’m just not excusing people from doing it anyway. They can- they choose not to. It’s not like voter suppression is responsible for 90 MILLION people not voting. Come off it already.
Anyway, have a good one.
Sure sure sure. FDR never existed, etc. etc. etc.
Excuses right on cue.
You make the mistake of assuming that someone makes it look nice for someone else and not themselves.
