I had to change a setting in my app (handbrake) to actually use libdvdcss instead of whatever it defaults to. I also seem to remember having to copy/symlink libdvdcss.so into /usr/local/lib/.

I’m always uncomfortable doing #2 anywhere but at home.

FYI, there’s a new proposal for IPv8 to address the issues with ipv6.

The main benefit seems to be that it is a superset of IPv4, so all existing addresses remain valid.

It also has some questionable ‘enhancements’ like requiring DNS records in order to allow routing.

I wonder how this compares with https://lyrion.org/, formerly Logitech SqueezeBox server.
