Yeah on one hand the field of evolutionary algorithms is fascinating and I can see potential. But on the other hand it’s being run into the ground by people forcing it into everything. Well yeah, having to stay outside in any temperature outside of comfortable for extended periods can be a problem. I wouldn’t want to be sleeping outside in record breaking heatwaves either.

Having to go out in sleet can be awful yeah, I still like it though.

Ok now I’m more confused because the initial post was saying “the Minecraft problem” like it doesn’t work on Linux, but it works very well natively, is the problem that the other versions don’t? Actually I think I might have bedrock lying around somewhere, I guess I can see what my laptop thinks… I suppose over the last 17 years I’ve just never really seen the point in downgrading or trying to play it on a console.

And how many modpacks does it have? I haven’t really played vanilla in years.

I’ve had no issues with java edition, on 1.21 or 1.7. on cachyos Pretty sure android would have less features too.

Minecraft problem? I’ve been playing Minecraft happily on cachyos with no compatibility layers for a few months now (it uses java)
