Hard pass. After playing FH5 and leaving for a few months only to be locked out of races and stuff I had access to at the start of the game due dlc coming out and locking you out unless you paid for the content that we already had access too. No thanks. I’ll sail the seas.

Why are they different shapes?

The point they are probably trying to make is with a key you don’t own the game like you would with a hardware cartridge in older Nintendo systems. So you own nothing on the switch.

They can if you install Linux on it and run a switch emu.

That’s how I feel too. I only bought the $40 entry years ago. Check back every so often and they add more and more. It may feel like a scam but from the hundreds of played hours I got my money’s worth many times over. And if they continue to improve every few months it’s a win win for gamers.

Yeah the flak was justified though. They had all these rules like it couldn’t be"used" in any way, so people weren’t able to upgrade as often as they promised. I believe Gamer Nexus did a video about it.
