Fair point. My point was some of these places may cater to folks incapable of maintenance, although that certainly isn’t limited to age. I would also think we wouldn’t want to segregate people based on ability or age, but here we are 🤷

I don’t have solid answer for you; I have no experience with leggings. I have had to put effort into finding pants that fit me appropriately, and that made a big difference in comfort and confidence. Rise was a big part of the equation for that item of clothing, but it related to fit in the groin. Ultimately, the correct rise led to better fit down leg. YMMV. Good luck!

I can’t view the image for some reason, but I’ve been single my whole life, I am middle aged, and sometimes get mail for Mr and Mrs rhythmisaprancer. I don’t care so much about that, but I am more worried about the mail I get at my elderly parent’s house that I have never lived at.

As I understand it, Doctor is originally a male form, and Doctrix is female. FWIW
I have always assumed I get these due to some activist work I did 10+ years ago, but it seems particularly bad this cycle.
I am surprised also, the only person I know that uses one is an old cowboy that got hit by a truck 45 years ago and has mobility issues. He has a long wooden one, possibly designed for riding boots.

This is really what it boils down to. I never had this issue as a mechanic, but I didn’t generally use pinch welds as a jack point. Most vehicles have numerous options for using a floor jack. You could use a control arm, or cross member, or sometimes a drivetrain component. Additionally, sometimes the pinch weld has a designated spot for jacking that seems to be reinforced.
Maybe what you are saying only applies to newer vehicles and I am out of date. Totally possible! I did not experience this 10+ years ago, tho. Only on exceptionally rusty cars that the driver would be challenged to install thr spare on the side of the road.

Just commenting to second the allergy, even tho it may not be the issue here. I always had awful reactions over the ~15 years I tried it off and on. Terrible. Not like CHS at all. You’re right, allergy (or something) is a thing. But probably not what OP has (not a doctor).
