I am the administrator of “What the Fediverse”, which includes:
I love Mint, but I need Wayland.
Someone said you shouldn’t?
You are not forced to update it.
That’s a pretty easy achievement though.
With the size of an iPhone Mini? Please?
I have an ALLPOWERS R600 hooked up to my server rack. It has built-in UPS and will switch to the battery, if the power goes.
However, I also have solar, with its own battery bank + an ATS.
I don’t have the ALLPOWERS setup to provide power from its batteri. Only in case of power failure from the house.
Shelly plug, integrated into Home Assistant.
For the whole month of November. 60kWh. This is for all my servers and network equipment. On average, it draws around 90 watt.
That’s pretty low with 4 HDD’s. One of my servers use 30 watts. Half of that is from the 2 HDD’s in it.
Most of my family run Linux.
My parents run Linux Mint. It’s simple and looks like Windows. The only thing they need is a browser and LibreOffice.
Some other family members are using ElementaryOS.
The majority of PC users are IT illiterate. They have no idea what the difference between Windows and Linux is or the difference between Chrome and Firefox is.
“This icon is your browser. You know, where you can access the bank. And this icon lets you write documents”.
There was always issues when family members was running Windows. Haven’t had to fix anything after installing Linux instead. Some doesn’t even know they are using Linux. I just said I updated their PC 😅
If there’s a decent speaker as well and the price is okay (probably high though), I could be interested.
We FaceTime a lot, so would use it for that, as well as play music and maybe even use it for Home Assistant.
It’s a Ukrainian who is suspected of sabotaging the pipeline.
Install this app All you gotta do is install it to a USB and boot from it and then bloat free! 😎
If it’s at the size of an iPhone mini when folded, then I might be interested.
Been asking for this for a while now.
It should choose a general instance, based on region and if not possible to pinpoint by IP, it should be a curated list of instances of which it just chooses one by random.
It does do actual passthrough and I also measure wattage directly from the outlet.
I just love that name!
