Does this finally mean Ben Drowned can be realized?
That expansion was marvelous, nearly hit every note for me and I say that as someone with otherwise very mixed feelings for Witcher 3.
Adding to that - Nintendo is one of the few devs that actually consistently provides the kind of games you’re talking about. I feel like Ubisoft selling their next cookie-cutter shopping-list BS for $80 is offensive, but Nintendo doing it is bearable and maybe even justifiable.
I do worry that Nintendo’s $80 price tag will normalize $80 games. Ideally, it would be nice if it instead normalized seeing games at a wider variety of fair prices.
Well I guess I don’t know the timing but I wouldn’t be surprised it Lemmy was it - there are a bunch of non-native English speakers here
OP’s browsing habits likely recently changed to a place on the web with more English as a second language users. Those kinds of misspellings are pretty common with people who learned a lot of their English from streaming Youtube and other online shows
20 cigars seems a bit much
I tried it a while back and was left wanting but that’s been a couple years. I’ll give it another try.
Still haven’t found a good replacement for InDesign and let me tell you how much I’m hankering to move on
Yeah that’s driving me crazy too, it’s 2025 and it’s an obvious marketing gimmick to withhold the OLED at this point
The hilarious thing about this is that the modern authoritarian doesn’t respect the engineer or the scientist either.
Yeah there’s a segment of arrogant racist halfwit conservatives that get a superiority kick out of demeaning people for stuff like that.
Absolutely. I think most of us are excited for incremental evolution.
And conversely a lack of that is the chief source of my frustration with games. Bethesda is another dev that comes to mind with the loading screen debacle that was Starfield.
That is an interesting thought experiment in general but I don’t think it really squares with Christian theology and the central role humanity has in it.
Yep years ago I was in a bible study, well on my way to being an agnostic already. They were going over a difficult passage and the conclusion was ‘god works in mysterious ways’. Not that I hadn’t heard that nonsense before but for some reason hearing it in that scenario was the last straw and I never went back.
I don’t think we know enough about the universe yet to be sure that cause/effect is 100% the be all end all. It sure seems like it is from where we’re standing now though, that’s for sure.
I had an Amazon seller offer to send me a gift card if I changed my review so I said I would take the card but would probably only change my review to note the gift card offer.
What if the rich kept getting eaten until they figured out a system that the rest of us were satisfied with
It’s extremely hit or miss IMO, there are some really good ones too. This one always cracks me up:
Oof thoughts and prayers
