If they struggle figuring out the market for Vision Pro I’m not sure how they can succeed with AR glasses.

It costs a lot of money to keep a terminally ill person alive.
I believe we should keep terminally ill people alive for as long as possible if that’s what they want. We shouldn’t deny anyone healthcare. But there are those who prefer to end their agony quick, and I think we should respect their wish.
I think it’s strange that we spend so much money on healthcare on people who rather don’t want to. Better to use that money on people who want to continue living.
A good fit would be random background NPCs. For example, pedestrians in a GTA like game. Can potentially increase the variety in the things they can say, and maybe even talk about things the player has just done.
Well that guy does it to sell some stupid AI stuff that doesn’t exist yet
That didn’t stop Jonathan Blow.
I have never noticed this. Shows how the average consumer doesn’t really care about consistent design languages.
Given Valve’s history of taking play testing really seriously, I wonder if this is something they’ve realized through user testing?
Lube compatible as well
What’s different between Vscode and other editors like Vim is how easy it is to make it a fully fledged IDE. Usually a notification pops up about analyzers being available, and if you click accept it’s done. Just one click of a button.
With Vim it’s not that easy. You need to install many separate plugins just to make it a fraction of an IDE.
What functionality is Vscode lacking for it to be an IDE?
Where’s NumIcrementorFactory?
It’s there because someone stupid fuck did it, and the car manufacturer don’t want to be legally responsible next time it happens.
Limiting to PC only games makes things tricky. Most games on PC are available on console as well. Especially soulslike and fighting games.
But my recommendation is Ultrakill. It’s a fast paced FPS with a Devil May Cry style system. It really showcases the benefit of having a mouse and keyboard for shooters.
Edit: another is Black Mesa.
If anything, I think RTS need to go back to its roots. I’m not a huge RTS fan, and I’m not particularly nostalgic about the genre, but I have played a few games. My favorite? AoE2! It’s just a damn good game.
I believe publishers already have good control over their prices. If they feel a game isn’t selling to the extent they wish, they lower the price. If it’s selling well, then they have no need to lower the price.
It’s market economy.
Probably Team Fortress 2. It was a comfort game for me when I studied university.
Haven’t played it in a great while now. Heard there’s a bad bot situation with it right now.
I can already hear Fromsoft fans say “it’s for lore reasons”, “it’s Miyazaki’s vision”, “git gud”, etc.
Usually it goes like this:
”Hey I have this problem. I tried this solution, but it didn’t work. Any ideas?”
”The fix is easy: just do the thing you said you already done”
And then radio silence.
It’s a surprisingly good game even it’s just a clicker game based on HTML forms.
The market is not rational. It’s mostly based on vibes and feelings. React first, think later.
