I like how doctors definitely judge you based on how you dress, but there’s no upside.
Person is well dressed and very put together? They obviously don’t have real problems™
Person is messily dressed? Their problems are their own fault (and impossible to solve)

They definitely make induction stoves that are just the countertop part. I have one on my boat. Theoretically you could put one of those over a “regular” gas oven, but the gas ovens almost always have a stove built in.

I realize this is probably hilariously unrealistic but. I prescribe a kitchen remodel. They have all kinds of designs for folks in wheelchairs that you could use with just a regular chair

Another problem that would never happen with knobs!

How else are you gonna teach those lazy toddlers to cook? Smdh

That’s worse. Don’t make me pull my phone out of my pocket to change stove temp. Absolutely embarrassing that this idea got to production.

I live in Seattle, and this has been my experience. Techno-city powered by dams = reliable

It’s an acronym for Smalterie Metallurgiche Emiliane Guastalla (“Emilian Guastalla Metallurgical Enamelling Works” in Italian). They’re actually a pretty high end brand, but yes, the name is amusing

If there was a problem with the wiring, wouldn’t conventional electric also have issues?

Dang, that sucks. I’m still daily using an electric stove from the 1950’s lol. I would love it if modern “environmentally friendly” appliances could last this long

You could have bought so many things at the reddit store!

So long, and thanks for all the downvotes
Let me clear this one up immediately. It’s because you can suck on tiddies while fucking.
Have you read the comics, tho? The movie is only the first 1/4th of the whole plot
Not using the metric system is such a massive waste of money (let’s talk about international trade, everyone else uses metric), there’s no way anyone is justifying it based on cost. It’s because when they actually tried to adopt the metric system in the 70’s people revolted and destroyed all the new signs. Because this is a barbaric fuckin country.

For most of us, we live in a tool-using culture whose digital infrastructure has become completely reliant on server-side linux, so its reliability (or lack thereof) can have real effects on our everyday lives. Can’t speak for everyone though

Something I “love” about my current phone is it has like a 60gb hard drive. This could hold all of the photos I will ever take for the rest of my life. But it keeps trying to put them on the cloud, and then it complains that I’m running out of space because my free 5 gigs on the cloud are full. I never wanted to save anything to the cloud in the first place… just save them into my phone… this is fucking stupid.
Well that just makes sense in the Southern Hemisphere
