Not the indomitable spirit; simply A LOT of ass artificially bouying my spirits. Lol

thanks, but don’t be; i’m convinced that i would be yet another liberal doomscrolling my life away, embittering myself further by the day because of the deep ignorance from the western propaganda like it is for some of my siblings/cousins/nephews/neices who turn to alcohol, drugs and other self destructive coping mechanisms.
i’m convinced that my dark skin; my queerness; and my nuero-divergence have forced me to develop tools that have proven themselves useful in thwarting the asshattery that life in this late stage capitalist world throws at me.
in your shoes: i would take a look at the file and delete it if it’s empty or if you don’t have a need for openvpn.
be warned, though, that openvpn might be a dependency for something else; so it may be smarter to rename it and see what breaks. (then restore it if it turns out to break something needful).
they used a pumpkin and mice to create Cinderella’s carriage and i wonder what they used to create the skateboard. lol
there’s a STRONG trend of black and brown social media influencers warning people not to get involved if they have too much melanin for american standards and learning about the black panthers and the night of the long knives (coupled with my anecdotal experiences with white-passing family members) makes me think that they’re right.
some small part of me hopes that my contributions to the greens and psl are so long ago that that i’m no longer on their rosters.
I remember learning that the Romans fell because they were too gay and debauched and woke, so they lost their manly vigors.
manly vigors are the reason why being gay is so much fun. lol

1·15 hours agoeos looks the most likely to me because of the partnership with murena; but i still hesitate because my sub-part experience using international brands within the united states and all of the lineage phones are either prohibitively ancient or international.
do you have any information on movement with any oems & graphene?
in 50-years time; the us empire may let these secrets see the light of day like they’re currently doing with the foia and your suspicions will become fact.
however, it likely won’t matter since the previous admissions that we got from other foia did nothing to budge people’s political beliefs despite the us empire freely admitting that they made it all up.

1·17 hours agomaybe not in this form, but potentially so.
people used to criticize james watt’s efforts at electricity and locomotion an impractical; but no one today doubts them.
it looks like /usr/lib/sysusers.d/rpm-openvpn-sysuser.conf has some customizations made to it and if you don’t know why, it warrants looking into it.
these are warning messages, so your packages probably installed fine, but it would do that part that touched the file.

1·17 hours agoI used it with a stock system so not aftermarket. Do you have any specific reason to believe aftermarket systems wouldn’t work? If they support android auto you should be fine.
ALL of the internationally branded phones i’ve had (mostly chinese) had compatability quirks with my aftermarket jvc head unit.
if well known brands like xioami or oppo wasn’t compatible, it seemed less likely that an enthusiast project would support it.
also: graphene is a non-start for me since it requires a pixel and i refuse to give google anything more than i already (unwittingly) have.

1·17 hours agoi only buy factory unlocked phones and i’ve never had good luck buying used phones from others; there was also something wrong with them and some esoteric policy at the places i purchased them from wouldn’t let me get a refund, so i’ve stopped trying.
I pretty much stick to straight bash and core utils, so it’s not much of a burden…
this has worked fairly well for me too and i’ve applied this logic to a few desktop environment apps that are seemingly ubiquitous in all of the distros.
though, i still admire (and sometimes envy) the customizations that people make to their environments.
i don’t blame them; until now all social media was under a centralized control that got to own the content and got do with it as they pleased as a a result. (eg reddit).
it’s going to take a while to go back to sharing this content on social media like it used to be and that’s assuming that it will ever go back at all.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What are some useful things to create with a typical 3D printer?English
2·18 hours agoit makes me wish that someone with 3d printers would offer to print things out for other people small fee.
i’ve got lots of broken plastic things that i glued/duck-taped/melted together because they were integral to how something (most appliances) function and i would pay someone to copy and print out a replica of it so that i can replace it.
they somehow still haven’t figured out that almost every single regime change was committed against an “authoritarian dictatorship” lol

eBay was the final straw for me. Lol
I bought a phone from them and it got stolen because FedEx put the package outside the building (instead of inside like usual) and neither eBay, nor the seller, nor cash app will cover the loss so I’ve excised all 3 from my life permanently.
