8’s did have some major issues though, but eventually 10 nailed it imo. I swear that if modern UI designers come up with something good, it’s wholly by accident and they have no idea why it’s good. What they ended up with on 11 is objectively inferior.

8·1 month agoSince apparently people still don’t know this, it is unlikely that reddit has been restoring deleted posts & comments. Historically, there was a limit to how much could appear on a user’s profile and even deleting stuff to back below the limit would not restore the visibility of items already pushed off.
They did relatively recently change this though so if you still have access to your account you can see and nuke the rest (although with the api lockdown and rate limiting shit nowadays it’s not as quick & simple).
Another reason this how idea got started was during the api fiasco, a fuckload of subs went private so anything in said subs did not show on profiles during that time. As mods capitulated or were removed, subs went public again and hidden content showed back up; people who nuked their accounts, via user profile pages, in this period assumed reddit was restoring their deleted stuff.

No, it’s really not. Especially since they already own 14% of FromSoftware directly. The only Sony bullshit is likely still going to be limited to any IP that Sony funds themselves.
I liked the early stuff quite a lot, but it definitely jumped the shark eventually imo. Thought it was supremely unfunny after that and I swiflty dropped the series.
Seems like this can be prevented from reaching that point by properly deleting old generations regularly though right?

222·1 year agoIf you’re in the US, should probably avoid it like the plague tbh. They have the proven capacity to make any situation infinitely worse.
