The worlds and gameplay are varied enough to always keep you from getting bored. The controls are pretty solid but aren’t offering anything groundbreaking. The dialogue is not great, often cringe but occasional good moments. The story and villains are poorly written. Lots of nods to other video games, pretty ham-handed but they can be fun sometimes. The fun you have will depend on who you play with. 7/10 for me.
For sure. Also with all the rumored Microsoft support, an Age of Empires/Mythology collection would be a no-brainer.
Calling it now: there will be a switch 2 sequel to Mario Paint.
I think it’s really interesting that the trailer seems to confirm one of the more wild leaks - that the joycons will have optical sensors that allow them to be used as a computer mouse. It would be really interesting if Metroid Prime 4 shipped with mouse support. Also, this would be pretty notable if the rumors of the Master Chief collection releasing on Switch 2 are confirmed.

A recent one that comes to mind is playing 4 player Bopl Battle with some buddies and just laughing our asses off.
Portal 2 spoilers The final fight where the ceiling crumbles and you see the moon and realize what you need to do is definitely a top 5 moment for me. Those games are so fantastic.
Bullshit. I got an ambulance ride 10 years ago, 15 minutes and they billed me $2,200.
Helicopter would be way more expensive.
Probably Kevin McCallister, since he’s the only kid that showed any aptitude for fending off intruders in those movies. Close second would be Buzz’s girlfriend though.
I vividly remember getting the cliff notes for “Of Mice and Men”, realizing it was nearly as long as the actual book, and begrudgingly hammering through the book the night before the test.
TBF I misread the storage originally and went with all SSD, so the price should be about a thousand less. Here’s the part list for anyone who wants to check my work: https://newegg.io/6d2b327
I disagree on this point. It’s convenient for a vegan, vegetarian or just someone who is trying to eat less meat to be able to make a substitution in a recipe. Tempeh is a great protein, but you have to know how to prepare it and what dishes it will work best in, whereas vegan “chicken” or plant based “beef” can be easily substituted 1:1 in recipes. As you get more comfortable, you can start substituting things like ground tofu, lentils or seitan, but having the culinary shorthand is helpful for lots of people.
I’ve had the opposite experience. Most of the vegan recipes I’ve found online use clever plant based substitutions that aren’t processed meat alternatives. A good exercise is to take your favorite dish and Google “vegan [that dish]” and see what ingredients are in those recipes. Many of the recipes you find will likely have whole food ingredients!
I don’t think vegan food brands are trying to change hearts and minds necessarily. I think they’re just providing easily substitutable alternatives for people who have already decided to eat fewer animal products.
Is that where the confirmation hearings for the cabinet picks are being held?
No, he clearly wanted a Nintendo Switch.
You’re not far off. As a parent, the idea of someone sexualizing my kids in any way makes me seethe. Like there are people I wouldn’t let my kids be alone with for a second just because they give me bad vibes.
But I do have to concede that it’s a psychological thing that people have, even if I wish they didn’t. I have to imagine that if anyone got to choose, then they certainly wouldn’t opt for that. I agree that the “kill your local pedo” mentality drives these people into the shadows where they won’t seek help, and may actually victimize kids. I just don’t know if I have the ability to look at someone with that mindset and be totally free of judgement, even if they do seek help.
