Ich würde dazu argumentieren, dass es existenziell wichtig für einen Erhalt der Erinnerungskultur bzgl. Holocaust ist, den humanitären Blick zu stärken.

Ein “Nie wieder” das mit einer bedingungslosen Duldung von Kriegsverbrechen hochgehalten wird: Wie soll man das nachfolgenden Generationen verkaufen? Das riskiert alles was Deutschland aus dem Holocaust gelernt haben will.

Man ringt bei der Situation selbst mit geeigneten Worten um seine Gefühle dazu auszudrücken, da so viele ‘Ebenen’ des Konfliktes existieren die getrennt werden müssen.

Die erste Ebene: Hamas-Anhänger haben unvorstellbare Greueltaten begangen, als sich die Möglichkeit ergab. Was an Leid angerichtet wurde kann nicht what-about-ed werden.

Zweite Ebene: die Zivilbevölkerung in Gaza leidet nun unter den Gegenschlägen einer Bevölkerung die einen berechtigten Hass auf Hamas-Anhänger hegt. Der Bevölkerung muss geholfen werden, durch NGOs und politischen Druck in Richtung Iran und Israel.

Dritte Ebene: Die Regierung Netanjahus hat Hamas in Gaza geduldet und unterstützt, um die eigene Politik zu legitimieren. Konkret wurden Gelder die für Entwicklungsprojekte in Gaza gedacht waren direkt in die Hände der Hamas gegeben (anstatt sie bspw. der PLO zu geben). Über die Jahre haben mehrere Minister aus Protest dieser Unterstützung ihr Amt niedergelegt.

Vierte Ebene: Kolonialismus und zweiter Weltkrieg
