Another one picked a textbook that was available online for free through the university’s library =)
One of my professors, instead of a textbook, created his own wiki-style online resource for the class. Completely free, frequently edited with improvements
One of the best classes I’ve ever taken
Baba is approaching rapidly
He clearly started the fire
I mean, so was I…
I wouldn’t say I grew out of it, but in comparison I like to think I grew into it
It’s far from my only understanding of it, it’s just the first thing that comes to mind for what might make him averse to a list of “others” being created
He probably would have also seen what happened with the US’s registry of Japanese people, which didn’t go great for them either
Captain America was alive for WWII
Germany created a registry for certain people and it didn’t end well for said people
With one billion dollars, I could comfortably provide for my family for ten thousand years. They’ll be fine without them

The coil wouldn’t make a significant magnetic field because the cable has two wires with opposite current flow in close proximity
But when the cable is coiled, its ability to dissipate heat is less, so normal resistive heating can create higher temperatures
“3d printed guns” aren’t all homebrew. Usually with guns you can just buy literally every part except for a certain part that’s serialized and legally considered to be “the gun” (ship of Theseus style; any other part can be replaced and it’s the same gun, but if that one’s different it’s a different gun)
It’s pretty trivial to print only that part and buy the rest. Also completely legal in many states, here’s a website with a bunch of examples:
Yes, but then it’s slower for your computer to talk back to your Wi-Fi, so it ends up cancelling out
If you had a fan blowing out the window, it could slightly reduce the density of the air in your house, leading to a tiny increase in the speed of light through it, so that would make the waves technically faster, but by a vanishingly small margin
It wouldn’t increase the bitrate of your router at all, so it wouldn’t make a difference, but the waves would be faster
If there’s not an assassination, I’m not interested
