It does matter, though. That dipshit segment is lost. But there’s a big chunk of people who swing side to side. Tons of people are constantly telling them “both sides bad” (including quite a lot of .ml users on this platform). It’s not true.

But if we start saying it’s fine to lie and manipulate images like this, then it becomes a little more true.

I agree with almost every one of the things you suggest.

But what makes us better than them is that we don’t have to lie. There is plenty of real stuff to throw at them. If we lie, it lets them call us liars, and they can more easily ignore the real stuff.

I do see the harm. “Everything that looks bad is fake” is not very far from what this guy has said before, and more fake stuff circulating makes it easier for his 30% to believe him.

The (non-vandalized) version of this image is a fake. Do not continue to spread it around.

There is plenty of real stuff out there to make fun of him for.

Alternatively: what he is doing is causing immense suffering on a societal level and if he stopped doing it many people would live when they would otherwise die.

If the government is unable or unwilling to stop him, or even stop accelerating what he’s doing, then there are other options.

I lived downtown for a couple of years and drove north on Illinois street to get to work. This swerve as it crossed 16th street and the corresponding confusion to drivers just about killed me a few times.

Indianapolis built the central mile square of streets aligned with magnetic north, but then the rest of downtown aligned with true north. It’s almost aligned, which causes problems at that border.

Imagine how many they hope to sell to schools. These things are gonna be in the shop for repairs all the time. Making them easy to repair is better for the consumer, but better for Apple, too.
