I’m surprised you’ve only had one crash yet. I’ve had a few so far now. I think it’s mostly the graphics though. I once had an inventory full of hundreds of alchemy ingredients and I tried to buy more and the game crashed. If I’m sprinting through the open world and looking around too much, the game can freeze up and crash while it’s trying to load in the world.
It’s a little touchy for me lol.
Mafia 2 did a similar thing. I like the games, they’re fun and interesting and all, but it’s kinda weird when you spread collectables throughout a map but they’re almost all in the opposite direction of any missions.
I’m still doing stuff in Cyrodiil. I’m trying to save Shivering Isles for last because it was the best looking thing from the original version.

I absolutely love Manic Miners (the fan remake of the old Rock Raiders game). The customization so you can make your own mining crew, all the old-school parts that are in the game, everything about it is fantastic.

I wouldn’t necessarily chalk it up to laziness or whatever. Imo it’s just different games do different things differently. It doesn’t break my immersion or mean the game is less fun to me.

In Oblivion Remastered, in third-person, when you run in a straight line either left or right your character will do this kind of sideways/backwards jog instead of straight-up strafing like they’ll do in Morrowind.
Imo either one makes sense when compared to real life, but maybe I’ve just been playing games too long?
God the Oblivion Remaster is seriously one of the best looking games I’ve ever played. I love the new looks for almost everything, but the window effect on Oblivion gates still feels a little off to me. It still looks cool though.

But that said, anytime I play an Elder Scrolls game, I always get the urge to play the other ones too, so I get it. It usually ends up taking months of my life away whenever it happens though.
I’ve been playing the Remaster and it looks immaculate, and it’s the same game. Different strokes I know, but I am loving the Remaster so far.

You’d be surprised. There are/were mods for Marvel’s Spider-Man to replace the Pride flags flying around NYC to American flags. I’m almost positive there were some fucked up ones for the Miles Morales game too.
Maybe it was something like a word-swap mod to change “type 1/type 2” to “male/female” that got banned?

ETA: which, I saw a couple posts in the steam discussions “celebrating” that Nexus put that mod back up. Like how fucking childish do you have to be to actually go out of your way to make a post like that? Everyone gains collective amnesia about all the good times they had playing/modding Bethesda games whenever they’re in the news cycle for some reason. It’s kind of fascinating/frustrating.
Add in the fact that a lot of these people have regressed over the past 10 or so years to the point where they think like 12-13 year olds again, and we get this whole “anti-woke gamer” bullshit.
To be completely fair though, I had to go out of my way to find people shitting on the game for even being “woke” in the first place. I saw the type 1/type 2 body type when I was making my character, but I just figured it was a natural progression since every other game with a character creator in the last 5 years has done away with gendered body types, and Oblivion is such a classic that it might have been overlooked; sadly not. In my head though (also because duh, it’s obvious if you use your eyes) I ascribe each to male or female, and it took me like a second to get through that entire thought process.
Been playing nonstop since it came out. I’m already level 30, almost done with Mages Guild and nothing else.

Well, this is a discussion thread, and I found some shit I need to discuss, although not with the game itself directly, but with “fans” and other G*mers:
This chucklefuck is actually getting some attention and people agree with them. The human race is fucked if the average person thinks like this on a daily basis. I’m not sure what’s worse; the out in the open bigotr, or the fact that they’re apparently okay with the current administration turning the government a completely fascist regime, or let alone they think this administration is “too soft” on perceived entertainment slights.

I understand that, and I care who I give my money to as well.
But almost every game nowadays has that clause, and almost every game regardless of single player or not, has mods for it.
This is also a Bethesda game. People are going to mod it out the ass regardless of what a few words in a text box say. The fact you think it means anything like we’ll never get official mod support is pretty cooked tbh.
I’ve power-levelled up to 25 by now, I’ve maxed out Intelligence and Willpower, and almost maxed out Strength. I have 60s in both Speed and Luck, and then I’m gonna see if I can get the rest of the attributes maxed out.
I love that levelling minor skills contributes to your overall level xp, so there isn’t as hard a level cap as there used to be.

Go on YouTube and look up the hundreds of videos from the past few months alone of scalpers and other Pokemon buyers getting into actual physical fights, buying literally 10+ of those huge box sets, and camping out at those vending machines and buying literally everything in them the minute they restock.
I’m a vendor at comic and anime conventions here in the US. I did a show last month that was literally 99% Pokemon cards and merch, and everyone was buying that shit up regardless. There were actually maybe five booths including my own that weren’t selling just Pokemon stuff, if at all.
