The switch 2 is bad for multiple reasons:

• Joycon drift
• Joycons have terrible ergonomics
• The design is meh
• No backwards compatibility for games
• The battery is terrible
• Nintendo exclusives/small library
• No innovation of any kind

There’s nothing to make it stand out other than exclusive game titles.

Once again, if that’s your shtick, good for you. Enjoy it.

I said the Wii was the last good console. They could have done so much better than they did with the switch.

You can buy seven switch games and a subscription to break even. I wouldn’t call that substantial. There’s a ton of really good free to play games and even more sub $20 games on deck. Not including the thousands you have access to with emudeck, including Wii game’s.

In the end, play what you like. I’ll die on my hill.

You can go down this route until you factor the price of games and the online subscription into it.

Take away the exclusives and its pretty subpar. The steam deck blows it away, especially with emudeck installed.

I viewed this as people in the 90s were much more mature. We’re a joke now and it’s true.

Fair enough. I believe college education stopped being a requirement and more of a hindrance around 2010. The pay didn’t keep up with the loans and education requirements. Nepotism is now the best way to get a high paying job.

What gets me are how many people don’t lock their doors in public.

They should have different tiers for the 30% cut, but they offer developers much more than any other platform. It’s all bundled in their universal 30% cut.

Regarding your second point, they can have lower prices on other platforms. They just can’t sell steam keys for less on other platforms.

For example, I can sell a game for $30 on steam, a steam key for $30 on another platform, or the same game for $10 but with no steam key on another platform.

Due to this, I went through and unlinked the few accounts I had linked for some reason or another in the past.

I will never understand investors. Anyone with half a brain can put two and two together when a company starts hiding anything. Investors have no idea what they’re doing, they just trust the customer will make them money, get angry when they’ve been duped, and will do it again.

I’m just sick of the general population enabling this behavior.

I’m sure they are so upset that they’ll go and rent another $70 game from them to cope.

Money. Solar tubes are not cheap to buy or install. The longer they have to go, the more expensive they become.
