I am an avid sports fan, and I will never understand the Draft worship. Like it’s important to get good players, sure. But I don’t need so spend a weekend watching about it. It’s just a way for the NFL to make money by selling ads.

I’m old.

I experienced this recently with music via a small music community, and it felt really good and motivated me. Hope it lasts.

This is why I will never drive in the state of Missouri again. Well it was a speeding ticket, but whatever.

I try and use less words to get a point across, but in no way do I blunt or soften the point I am trying to make.

I recently found my Radiohead Kid A stickers that have been waiting for the perfect placement since 2001.

I sit down on the toilet, open Lemmy, this is the first thing I see.

I grew up on the water. Saw these stickers everywhere. Cool, we all go to the beach all the time, we live on an island.

Then 7 years ago I moved to central PA. I see one of these stickers on cars here all the time. I’ve been making fun of it for years. I think they don’t know the river here is fresh water.

I enjoyed the Orb trend more, but it didn’t have the same staying power. You’d think they would have pondered that and done better.

I actually think the post title and text were edited AFTER I responded which made me look like an idiot, but whatever.

Man I’m just getting killed for misreading stuff lately.

I don’t know but that’s a ground symbol like you would see on an electronics schematic.

I’ve literally never had an account. I’ve never even like started the process. I get emails a few times a year from them because ONCE a friend invited me. This was over a decade ago.

I try to avoid it. I only buy there what I can’t find locally, or elsewhere on the internet, or anywhere at the price. At this point, I probably purchase less than an item a month from Amazon, and I’m still trying to cut that down.

I’ve used vote411.org in the past and it’s done a decent enough job for me to double check local candidates and their policies ideas prior to elections. I’m willing to try others though. Any thoughts on vote411?

I just signed an offer for a 8am-4pm job, so I guess they do but it’s been a long while since I’ve had a job with those hours.
