  • This is Nvidia doing this, right? I don’t see why they wouldn’t try and improve the graphics in games when using their graphics cards. DLSS has been criticized as it’s continued to improve. If people use it it’s because they prefer the graphics with the minimal impact on FPS.

Again, I don’t think I’ve commented on Ithe impact on artists. Since you insist, I’ll comment on it. Y’all raise interesting points. I’m not sure what’s in the best interest for super stressed, underpaid, and underappreciated game developers. If this leads to them selling more games because they can run on cheaper hardware then maybe it’s great. If it completely distorts some face they worked really hard on then maybe that sucks.

That said, I’m just not gonna pretend the one on the right doesn’t look more realistic and I wanted to disrupt the echoes

Can you clarify? You’re saying you don’t currently want to try TT because you don’t think it’s existed long enough, and/or that you didn’t try it before because you didn’t think it would last that long?

Idk dude, the latter would literally be exactly what people said about the Internet. “It’s just a fad”, “it won’t go anywhere/be useful/last long”.

I mean, our ineffective af government was somehow able to rally bipartisan support against this very popular app that many Americans use to create/manage/advertise their businesses, one that is the only slightly left-leaning social media site and one that isn’t controlled by American oligarchs. But you still think it’s not important?

That’s fair. lol. Agree to disagree. They’re not coming for “us” at least!

  • If I say, the earth isn’t a perfect sphere and that actually it’s a bit oval/elliptical (or whatever or supposedly is) and then someone answers all pissy and asking me to prove it, do you really think I’m likely to help them understand my position if I find them rude and annoying? Most people that genuinely want to understand others’ point of view don’t say things like “or was that someone else’s fault?” They say things like"can you explain why you think that?" or maybe “I’ve been thinking xyz, why is it you think abc instead?”

“I’ma be disrespectful to you, but I expect you to teach me!”

This ain’t a debate. lol. If you want people to share their knowledge with you, come correct. Most people would be happy to share information. When you act all dishonest it makes no one want to even talk to you unless they agree with you

  • Hmm… not bad. I only watched 5ish min, but he seems genuine - that is to say, he realizes he fucked up, not that he’ll actually change anything

More interesting, to me, as someone that had only heard about this from headlines, you can clearly see the mental illness pervasive in his community by looking at the comments and even moreso by looking at the guy’s room. Dude is someone we should pity, not hate - granted I understand influencers having massive platforms, and well influence

Still, I wish we could be more like the Palestinians and Arabs he mentions, that checked on him to see if he was ok, instead of the knee-jerk, quick to react Americans we are, that are ready to pounce on a fallen neighbor enemy and eager to find ways we’re different to further divide ourselves

  • Why are your bars unequally divided?

It doesn’t make sense for chocolate bars to be divided into equal-sized chunks when there is so much inequality in the chocolate industry! The unequally-sized chunks of our 180g bars are a palatable way of reminding Choco Fans and Serious Friends that the profits in the chocolate industry are unequally divided.

And in case you haven’t noticed, the bottom of our bars depicts the West African coastline. The chunks just above it represent the Gulf of Guinea. From left to right, you have Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo and Benin (terribly politically incorrect, we know, but we had to combine them to create enough space for a hazelnut), Nigeria and part of Cameroon.

    That’s awesome!
