Ridiculously fast. More than double than what most people will drive on a highway. Illegal on a highway anywhere but Germany. And even there it would be quite unsafe and thus illegal in most driving conditions.

Yeah the democrats have been a disappointment. I’d kinda see that as a reason to protest all the harder though. Using more disruptive measures like general strikes as well. Make them listen. Protest movements have overthrown tyrannical regimes before. Gets harder the more they’ve consolidated their power though.
Foreign media would report on it though, wouldn’t it? There are many European reporters in the US. And there should be plenty of videos, pictures etc showing the scale. I haven’t seen anything comparable to pictures of the women’s march personally. I’ve seen pictures of protests but they seem, comparatively, quite small.
Was there anything on the scale of the 2017 women’s march? I’m sure your arguments are true to some extent, but I am surprised and concerned that I haven’t seen anything in similar scale to 2017’s protests, despite the situation being so much worse this time. Back then they managed to mobilize over 200,000 people despite being car-centric.
I can’t think of a current EV that is completely without a touchscreen or proprietary OS, but there is quite a big selection of cars with physical keys and controls. For example, if you look at Kia’s current EV lineup, features like voice control, digital keys etc are all available, but completely optional. There are physical buttons and levers for almost everything you need while driving, like volume, temperature, fan speed etc.
Just not polluting it further would do it. It’s a river, so almost everything will get washed away and within a couple decades it will be pretty clean.
I speak a kind of wild mix of British English and American English. Like my pronunciation is probably closer to British but I’ll also use some American terms, like “sidewalk” instead of “pavement”. I guess it could be considered a variety of Euro English.
I speak standard (German) German, with a slight dialect of my region.
I am specifically referring to RTX technology and not ray tracing in general.
There is nothing specifically “RTX” about the reflections in GTAVE.
The RTX reflections in the GTA:V:E are very satisfying I love all this.
It’s called Raytracing. RTX is just a marketing term Nvidia uses for their GPUs, GTAVE has nothing to do with it.
I don’t exactly talk like a sailor but I don’t censor myself either. I think swearing is much less of a big deal in my culture than it seems to be in conservative America. For example, bleeped-out words on TV or radio are not a thing here. I have not and will never use any “replacement words”, those just seem forced and silly to me.
Probably against HOA rules in many places.
If you live in the EU, you could try a GDPR request to delete your account and then create a new one.
Only on a very surface level, as in “the far-right reached second place in an election again”. But other than that, no, the situation in Germany is not very comparable to the late Weimar republic at all. Party militias aren’t terrorizing the streets, there is no hyperinflation, we’re not geopolitically isolated and our constitution is not as flawed and weak. Not to say the situation is rosy, but pretending we’re literally at the inception of the fourth reich is not realistic or useful.
That website renders perfectly for me in Firefox for Android, including the bottom bar. I’m not sure but I think the issue is something else, as setting the bottom address bar moves it even further up on your device. Maybe something to report to Mozilla.
I haven’t seen that happen. What website is that? Might be an issue with your phone’s safe area.
It has been many years (probably like 7-8) since I last watched his content. Back then they were fun, informative videos about various exotic animals, but over time, his videos shifted ever more towards clickbait and “getting stung by the most painful insect EVER” type videos, while the educational aspect barely played a role anymore. Just looked at his channel and it seems like this trend not only continued but has gotten worse since I last watched him.
All my devices (PC, Smartwatch, Steam Deck etc) are in (British) English, with the exception of my phone, which is in my native German.
You think a U.S. military base isn’t getting kicked the fuck out of a foreign country the moment they are declared an enemy?
No, or rather I don’t think many countries would immediately be willing declare them an enemy. Europe shies away from armed conflict and quick, decisive actions unfortunately aren’t our strong suit either. I’d fully expect a drawn out political shitshow before anything actually happens. As was/is the case for Ukraine.
Or do you have such a little opinion of everyone else that you think a couple of military bases will immediately take over every European county at once?
Take over? No. But I do think they’d be a deterrence factor, especially considering they also carry nukes.
What would be the reaction of the Canada King (Charles III is the king of Canada)?
Absolutely nothing. Maybe some strong words. He has no power.
The Commonwealth? NATO?
Tough to say. Getting actively involved in a war in North America would be very difficult logistically for the European countries or the Commonwealth, so I don’t think there would be an immediate military reaction. Possibly a Ukraine-type situation where the NATO countries try to aid Canada with equipment as best as they can. But even that will be difficult across the Atlantic ocean, which the US can probably blockade. Local politics would be absolute chaos, with an ally that many countries have relied on suddenly turning enemy. With the US having military bases everywhere, they could also threaten countries into keeping out of the war. I think the situation would unfortunately be quite bleak for Canada.
