You are in Fascist America right now. If you think the neolib democrats are going to save you, you’re wrong. They have done nothing but roll out the red carpet for this fascist regime (for a nominal fee, of course.)
Is that actually good? I’ve just eaten plain bread with water. Mind you, I usually just bake my own bread and it comes out delicious as is.
I’m not sure what you mean exactly. But I can scale the app rows up in the settings. I don’t have an issue though, but my app drawer has bigger icons if that’s what you mean. Also I think I disabled the dedicated app bar.
Heck ya, tutorials and hobby tear downs and builds. Also a good smattering of science education.

They can always venture out of .ml. They’re much better behaved when they do, which is great for everyone.
Ooo. That hdd solution looks like a mic shock mount. That’s brilliant.
That’s a fair interpretation. My point was to illustrate that the goal of Buddhism isn’t to achieve happiness, but rather a practice to observe “truth” and the “source” of all things. This has the benefit, in my experience, of managing unnecessary suffering.
This is my first time seeing this specific meme. But I’d imagine glory hole jokes are pretty mixed. If you see something I don’t, that’s okay, your view is perfectly valid.
I was under the impression that glory holes were and are predominantly used by the gay community.
You could easily replace the girl with a guy and the joke doesn’t change, no?
I think Buddhism acknowledges everything is suffering (sangai kaiku - zen)

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is empathy based on a financial bell curve?
2·5 months agoI grew up poor. (Not homeless). We shared among all our friends and neighbors, especially when someone falls on hard times. It was kinda like a safety net. Being desperately homeless and addicted probably has a much different experience though.

16·6 months agoSometimes I’ll submit a comment that’s too jaded and cynical that I don’t want to expose others to after some hindsight.
Yeah me too. There’s very little value to justify keeping them in my feeds. As soon as there is a decent alternative to lemmy I’m leaving.

I’ve eaten half raw chicken before and it’s disgusting. I’m poor so I still finished it but I do wonder if people actually enjoy it.
