It does add a lot of quality of life stuff you would have to mod the original to get access to, though as I understand it, the Lazy Newb Pack mods include most of those QoL changes. Though, them being integrated into the game itself will almost always be smoother than requiring the installation of a mod.

Exactly what I was thinking. I’d take being named after an NGE character any day of the week over being named after a SW sequels character, lol

Dunno if other people have a faster way of finding out about potential data breaches, but for me, the original Bleeping Computer article about this showed up on my newsfeed and that’s how I found out about it, followed a few hours later by other sites parroting the same news while quoting the BC article. It wasn’t till I saw this post that I learned this breach is a fake, though. So, I’d say just keep an eye on your newsfeed and if you see something there, check any tech news communities and other relevant social media communities that you’re a part of for the same news and for further details.
Edit: There’s also sites like Have I Been Pwned where you can put in your email and get information on every known data breach involving your email address. The site can also notify you about any new data breaches where your email showed up in the affected data.

Weeb wackers

Very good choice for a mobile browser based on Firefox. I’ve been using Iceraven on my phone for some years now and it’s definitely better than default mobile Firefox. I’m sure you’ll like it.
I love this explanation so much lol
The game’s exclusive early access period for purchasers of the premium edition just released. Big name streamers are playing and streaming the game. Reviews are pouring out of every game review site. On top of all that, the general release is days away. Obviously, people are gonna be talking about it.
Reminds me of this song.
At first I thought it was a joke. Then I saw stuff like this, and now this post. Why is this a recurring thing? Is it just some kind of horrible running joke?
Just the idea of crudely drawn, overpriced pictures of apes needing to be repossessed because of missed loan payments makes me lose it.
It’s so absurd that it reads like a parody.
To an extent, yes, though buying it on Steam, even if you’re not going to play that version, does help support the continued development of the game overall. Their Patreon donation stream was apparently waning before the Steam version released, plus there was the family health scare Tarn revealed at the time of the announcement too. I’d prefer the entire project not get put on a long hiatus because the devs got unexpectedly bankrupted by the absurd healthcare costs prevalent here in the US. And the fact that they didn’t take down the free version after the Steam release on its own shows that they didn’t make that version for the sake of greed.
