I checked to see if they were from the MGTOW instance

Tim Sweeney really decided to lean in on this by defending the pedo AI gen bullshit on twitter

Its 2025 sales numbers are about 4 million, half that of 2024, and that’s with half the year with no successor console. Maybe it’ll beat it, but I don’t feel it’s a foregone conclusion

Probably not, unless Nintendo releases a surprise last iteration of the console which I also don’t see as that may cannibalize Switch 2 sales. A Switch Micro would be cool though

Yarr? Yarr!

He may not have coined the term, but Gucci’s full quote is an all-timer
If a man does not have sauce, then he is lost. But the same man can get lost in the sauce.
While I don’t think he’s a good rapper in the technical sense, there’s something I absolutely love about Gucci. I play his East Atlanta Santa Christmas songs this time of the year, every year.
I’ve been playing Metroid Prime 4. It’s ok, only more of what I expected, nothing incredible like Dread was for me. You can definitely feel how it’s cobbled together after being in development hell.
I finally picked up Dave the Diver on sale, looking forward to digging into that soon.

As someone who formerly worked with and still volunteers with people with autism, this story was really touching. I know exactly what Rob and Dianne mean when they say Ronnie enriched their lives.
One of the biggest issues people with autism suffer with is loneliness and isolation; I encourage anyone looking for something meaningful to do with their time to look into how to become a friend to someone who is differently abled.

It was so damn good. One of those games where I paid for all the DLC just because I wanted more of it and I know how EA operates. Too bad Apex seemed to kill off that hope.
RIP Vince, you made an indelible mark on the industry and will forever be remembered.

Haha jellyfin go brrrrrrr

Metroid Dread left such an impression on me after playing earlier this year that I bought and modded an OG GBA with a better screen. It was fun and frustrating all at once! My first time soldering since I was a teen. I proceeded to beat Metroid Fusion for the first time despite having the cartridge for probably as long as it had been since my last time soldering. I’m now playing Prime 4, although I’m not yet sure if that qualifies as a highlight.
Besides that, I also got sucked into Hades 2. I didn’t get the true ending to the first game but I did roll credits on this one! What a game. Pokémon Unbound romhack was also on the list of time sinks, but I gotta get back to beating that.

I agree that it’s harder to find tech that doesn’t require EULA acceptance, service subscription upsells, or other modern BS, but they’re out there. I just remember how difficult getting a lot of stuff working was 20-30 years ago.

When did shit ever work? Only reason I’m a programmer is because I had to figure out how to get janky drivers running or how port forwarding worked before I could play vidya as a kid.

It’s not hard to remember reusable bags. I leave a bunch in my car for this reason.
I anecdotally see far less people plastic bag waste around my community. I just wish we’d do the fixed drink caps like Europe does next.

This can’t handle 3DS titles, right? Not that it matters; my N3DS XL is still going strong
I was hoping for more than a cromulent 3D Metroid, but I’ll take it for what it sounds like it is.
“I don’t even know where to start”
Aka I don’t have a counter argument so I’m going to lean on a thought terminating cliche and call you a bigot
Not surprised you skipped other M. I haven’t heard a single good thing about that one
I use a safari plugin called Wipr. There’s another I’m aware of called Vinegar
