Yeah… Neither of those disprove my comment. The first article is about temporary legal status being given by a previous administration. Key word there being temporary. I’m not going to argue the morality or legality of that whole situation but those appear to be special exceptions.

Second article just proves that ICE is being racist and doing their jobs of checking peoples legal status. I did only skim the article but it didn’t appear to report that any of them actually got deported. Just detained and questioned.

We still have many immigrants coming into the country legally every day.

Number 2 spot is Germany. All of the immigrants they have ever had would need to double while not a single soul immigrated into the US for the next ~30 years.

Does America have racists and dumb people within its borders? Absolutely. What country doesn’t?

Is America the most racist country? Absolutely not. Is it the dumbest country? Also no.

Nowhere is perfect. Despite all its flaws America is still the number 1 immigration destination so clearly we must be doing something right.

I can’t deny they do run basically forever. My dad got one to replace his minivan once all the kids had moved out and he is able to take him and his wife to gigs with his whole drum set comfortably in the back.

I drive his Prius occasionally for various reasons and I just don’t like it each time. I find it unsatisfying to drive and unpleasant to look, but I cannot deny it’s utility and reliability.

Always appreciate someone who needs out about ATLA. I enjoyed the read and I guess I agree with you on the lava thing. Putting in context of the water benders being able to change the phases of water it makes more sense.

You’re getting into the problems with the magic system of the ATLA universe when taken to its extremes.

If you really let them all go hog wild people wouldn’t be fighting in a combat sense but more in a instantly kill you kinda way. I can see why they stopped at lightning for a kids show. The blood bending was already a bit extreme and I am still a bit surprised Nickelodeon let that happen.

Yeah like another comment said there is evidence of air benders collecting moisture from a cloud so I don’t really know. Then again maybe he was water bending? He did know how to water bend by that episode.

The problem is heat energy/fire would kinda get all the cool shit. Like lava was given to the earth benders in LoK and I always felt that didn’t make as much sense as fire benders having access to it.

Air, water and earth all just have the one thing that really makes much sense. Water can do ice and stuff since that’s just a phase change for the element they control but what do earth and air get?

Honestly planes are a little harder. Pretty much all airspace is monitored so it’s more likely to be noticed.

Then again I haven’t smuggled drugs for the cartels in years so maybe they figured out a way around that little problem.

I think the left is way too anti-american these days and I think the right needs to recognize that we aren’t always so star spangled awesome anymore either.

It’s disingenuous to pretend that America has done nothing good and are nothing but a bunch of fat racist losers or whatever they say.

The fashion industry is one of the most environmentally disastrous industries that serves no real purpose.

At least with things like coal power you can understand why we are destroying the earth and killing people to keep the lights on everywhere (we shouldn’t be doing that either but that’s a different topic).

With fashion it is JUST waste. Most fashion these days is made to be worn a handful of times before it falls apart. Just needless waste with no real value.
