I am a HUGE advocate for women staying safe. I think more women need to purchase and properly learn how to use a personal high speed lead slinging device.
HOWEVER I do not care for this claim that women are always the victims. Statistically they aren’t more frequently attacked or murdered. In fact they are slightly less likely to be victims. Bad people are gonna do bad things and everyone should learn to protect themselves against those bad people.
DOUBLE HOWEVER Men are overwhelming the perpetrator of violent crimes against everyone. More than 75% of violent crimes is committed by men.

The AI summary shit is legitimately dangerous. My little brother was arguing with me about something and he googled it and just started reading what the AI summary said and about halfway in I stopped him and asked him to read it again but slower. He went back and realized the AI had just started pulling shit out of its ass.
We were talking about blood transfusions and my brother had gotten O- and O+ mixed up. The AI incorrectly told him that O+ was compatible with all other blood types (already wrong) but then it randomly said that C++ was a new and upcoming synthetic blood that was better than real human blood.
I had an account from 2013 with hundreds of thousands of comment and post karma. They banned my account without even telling me why. I filed an appeal and that was a month ago now. Still haven’t heard anything back.
I made a new account under a new email with a new Internet connection and a new device. It got banned after 30 minutes. I literally left one positive comment and upvoted a few things.

Yeah unfortunately bad actors ruin pretty much everything. We can do our best as a society to set things up in a way where systems can’t be abused but the sad reality is we just need to raise people better.
