Do you have GRUB? If yes you can edit your kernel command line and append “init=/bin/bash”, see if at least this gives you a prompt, this has saved me a couple of time in the past. Else booting on a USB and mounting your boot partition may help to fix it.
BTW I also have LUKS and I’m using TPM, using tpm2-initramfs-tool, first, it failed because I forgot the tpm modules in initrd, but I always have 2 kernels installed and only modify one initrd at a time to have a safe boot if I have a problem, like I had!
I tested tpm2-initramfs-tool with proper tpm2 modules and it worked.
I also tested with clevis-initramfs and clevis-tpm2 and it’s even easier, no messing with crypttab.
Also, as long as you can break GRUB and append “init=/bin/bash” it is not secure of course, you can then prevent grub editing or not using grub at all.
This is really infuriating, in Canada this is terrible, like new customer can have their cell plan or internet or whatever at let’s say 35$/month while you are a customer for 20 years and the best they can do is 80$/month.
Funny enough you can port your phone/service to another carrier and the next day the original carrier calls you for a “winback” at 35$/month, silly.
Pretty common in Montréal…
Worst or better, I had an ASUS Zenfone 2, with an intel x86 processor, was able to install Windows on the phone, natively.
Seriously I replaced my PC (you know, big tower with lot of fans) with a Beelink MiniPC and OMG I do not regret it! It is super small, like 4"x5", sitting on my desk, sometimes I can hear the fan but mostly never, it’s fast, quiet, powerful. Best thing ever.

not enough digits for md5, could be sha1 yes

I’m using baobab here, it scans my 500GB in a few seconds
derp, me gusta, forever alone, etc wow I remember those from maybe 15 years ago

I am using this charger https://www.liitokala.com.cn/charger/LiitoKala-Charger/324.html it is a few $ on AliExpress, it is USB-C and can basically charge anything, it exists in 1 channel or 4 channels too. For AA batteries I am using IKEA LADDA, made in Japan, by Eneloop.
If he wants to live alone in his own flat, why is he not paying for it? and bills, power, internet, etc? Does he work?

achtually, every Android phone is using the Linux kernel
ah modules, the good old days, especially on amiga, but we had good tracker on PC too.
Same! Work gave me a Dell laptop, on one side there is a USB-C/TB, on the other side there is 2 USB-C/TB and HDMI. I needed to buy a small usb-c dock with PD, usb-a, second HDMI, RJ45, etc to work with it at home. At least it is easier to unplug and carry.

In my previous company, at about 9PM, about half the company got an invite for a 9AM meeting, and the other half for a 10AM meeting, we saw all the name in our invite of course. Let’s say the evening was hard, to guess which group was staying and which group was fired! I was in the “stay” group, this repeated every quarter and after 3 or 4 quarters it was my turn to be in the fire group, the next quarter they closed the company and fired the remaining employees.
The HR lady was like the picture.
I’m using MX Linux and Firefox, I’ll test the browser. But using VLC it’s no problem here.

It reminds me I sold a LS120 with some floppies for it, I barely used it 20 years ago, I tested it and it was still working fine, I put the lot for 10$ on marketplace and a few minutes after someone wrote to me saying “I WANT THEM!” he needed one for a server setup in a company that still used LS120 and put an alert on marketplace for it. He was super happy and told me I saved his life :)
