Honestly, New Year’s day is the time to do things you enjoy. I went and hung out with horses and rode one around for a bit. There was like nobody out when I left my house. It was really nice, and even middle of the day traffic was minimal.
I was asleep by 10. Woke up to so many texts and didn’t respond until I felt like it. It was honestly super nice. Just spent the night laying with my dogs and reading until I got sleepy.
I love training animals. Dogs, cats, horses, ducks. It’s so rewarding because almost all animals you bond with want to please. Ducks are kinda hit or miss in regards to pleasing, but they can all respond to the phrase “go to bed” if you teach it to them.
My fridge is covered in pride stickers. Any time I get something that’s gay or has rainbows, it immediately goes on the fridge

I’m okay with not giving someone with disabilities and inheritance if it’ll fuck with any government money they’re getting for their disabilities. You have to handle money in that kind of situation very carefully. My mom is my life insurance beneficiary or whatever it’s called, but the money would be going to my sister. My sister is intellectually and physically disabled and cannot work. My parents handle her finances so she doesn’t lose her disability income, so my mom would be in charge of keeping that money for my sister and using it appropriately. When I make a will, most, if not all, of my shit (my house, car, etc) will go to my mom legally, but my mom knows my sister is the intended recipient and would help figure shit out.

I had an incredibly aggressiveale duck that would come after me all the time. He was big, like 20lbs at least, and I’d kick him in the chest with the side ofy foot when he came at me all angry like. His chest was the meatiest part of him, so I wasn’t worried about damaging him with kinda wimpy kicks. Bastard became soup real quickly, though. Overly aggressive birds in my flock don’t get the privilege of being pets.

I donate to my local food bank. I worked in their hydroponics garden a few years ago and saw how much work goes into providing food for the needy. They need all the help they can get.
I also donate time and energy and a bit of money on a specific horse at the stables I volunteer at. She’s an old mare with an owner who doesn’t give a shit about her. Nobody really does anything with her other than me and another person, and that other person only lets her out to graze. I exercise the horse, groom her, give her lots of attention, and I got her a winter blanket recently.
A martyr will do more for the cause. People love rallying behind them. I would still love if he gets away with it all. I’m still not fully convinced they caught the right guy, though
I got rid of all my yarn one day last year because I was overwhelmed. Haven’t gotten any since but I really want to get back into knitting/crocheting. I’m afraid I’ll just end up with way too much again

I don’t donate to charity, but I do donate to the Special Olympics in my area. My little sister is an athlete in it and she is thriving now that she’s part of something. It’s a really good thing for everyone involved and I want it to continue. I’ve never seen proof in my area that charities are actually putting donations to use in a tangible way. I’ve looked into it, too, out of curiosity.
Thanks! I blasted my way through the main quest in preparation for 1999. Now I’m just working on getting my MR up and good frames and weapons built. My friends are so much farther along than me and they are a huge help. My fave part of the game, by far, is the fashion
