Good job on “quote” that’s creative spelling. In “Vörld” the o in this case is actually an ö when looking at it with a German pronunciation. Now, this is my attempt at that sentence:

“Bie dä tschänsch ju want to sie in dis wörld” Du ju hef ä fevorit quote?

I have not seen this kind of language, so I assume it’s a new trend for English speaker. In the DACH region, writing like you speak your accent is a pretty common thing outside the major towns. I’ll leave you with a pretty complex example where the writer tried to show the pronunciation by using different circumflex to show how different letters are pronounced. https://pasteboard.co/rMJcvSHAFx6g.jpg It’s pretty extreme, but if you are fluent in any German alpine dialect you will have little problem reading it.

Had a similar experience when roadtripping over there. Each town had a big share of local beers who were all great. Especially if you can enjoy a good IPA. Local American beers definitely are on the same level as European ones.
Just don’t buy Bud light and similar you get at a Walmart.

Puuh halt echt kritisch… Jetzt kann man das ganze mit Poppers Toleranz Paradox lösen. Unabhängig davon würd ich die Frage umformulieren: Sollen (deutsche) Medien über andere richten dürfen? Wenn man diese Frage mit ja beantwortet dann stehen diese Medien über bzw auf gleicher Höhe mit der Rechtsstaatlichkeit. Dafür, dass man immer sudert die Medienhäuser sind gekauft und auf Gewinnmaximierung fokussiert, ist man plötzlich ganz leise hier.
summa summarum:
Nur weil es grad praktisch ist, ist es auf lange Sicht sicher noch nicht klug. Die Medien sind nicht an einem fairen Prozess oder einer gesetzesorientierten Entscheidung interessiert. Das Interesse der Medien liegt bei der Gewinnoptimierung und der Steigerung der Verkaufszahlen. Man kann deshalb nicht davon ausgehen, dass zukünftige Hetzjagd zufälligerweise auch moralisch korrekt sind.

Ich find die Anmaßung immer so wild. Das ist ein privater Verein. Die können tun und lassen was sie wollen.
Wenn sie sich nicht verändern wollen dann macht man halt seinen eigenen Verein auf, hat bei den Studentenverbindungen auch funktioniert. Dort gibts Vereine für alle Geschmacksrichtungen: Männer, Frauen, Gemischt, Schlagend, Nicht-schlagend, Farbtragend, Nicht-farbtragend, usw usf.
Das man da jetzt mit Muss und Zwang irgendeinen Verein aufbricht ist halt die pure Anmaßung und erinnert mich irgendwie and die Cultural Appropriation Debatte.

I still have a Samsung Ultrabook Series 9 with Windows 7 Ultimate laying around. Buddy is over 10 years old and works in a pinch as a replacement device. It’s always a pleasure opening it and seeing the custom login screen

That’s not right. As long as they are excluded from DnD with their phone number, Android will let them through. It even says so in the settings (feddit.de still has image upload issues but the info states that “Even if messaging and calling apps can’t reach you, people that you choose here can still reach you through those apps”)

No I haven’t tested them yet. However something I do notice is that people tend to forget the small drives much more often. Simply because of the form factor.

As a general purpose USB (which not only works great for daily use as a thumb drive but also works with no issues as Linux Live or persistent USB) I can recommend the Sandisk Ultra line. I had them everywhere from 16GB to 128GB. They never let me down. The housing might look like it’s made from flimsy plastic but it’s surprising sturdy.

A second drive I’m currently preparing for use as a persistent Linux drive is the Samsung portable SSD T7. It’s nice and sturdy and the USB C to USB C interface allows me to easily run it on my Laptop without using up any of my precious USB A ports.
