I use yyyy-mm-dd as it allows me to alphabetically sort it and still get it in proper order

2·1 year agoI know. That’s why the live usbs are a life saver. I really just use the live usb to test everything out.

201·1 year agoI can see everyone down voting you to oblivion… And that’s sort of fair. But that’s beside the point.
I was having trouble with NVIDIA while using mint early on and decided to switch to Fedora. Maybe try that once. Fedora has better defaults for nvidia.
Use the KDE Plasma spin btw. See if it works.
LFS is the only true distro

2·1 year agoI don’t think anybody gets paid enough to write that down. In fact, they might get punished for wasting company time. They could open source it and people would automatically fix these things. Who knows.
The iron quantity in blood is actually very low. And when the thing is made up entirely out of iron, then also the benders can be as free with them as they are with earth
Here’s my alternate suggestion BONE BENDING. Bones are just huge chunks of mineral so must be free game.

Linux@lemmy.ml•I just distro hopped after using a distro almost a year. Is it normal?
3·1 year agoI had tried opensuse tumbleweed and absolutely loved the way it did things, my perfect balance between fedora and arch, but there were Teo problems that I couldn’t get over.
- Zypper is slow.
- I couldn’t get it to do parallel downloads packages.
But it’s a great distro nonetheless.
Also it has a similar problem with fedora that arch doesn’t. VIDEO CODECS. I don’t understand how the USA messes with my ability to play a video and I am seriously annoyed by it.
An MRI works at 3T to 7T. At that range oxygen is slightly magnetic (Everything is magnetic, just not ferromagnetic). This can cause damage to the machine if it misaligned a critical component.
Don’t they know this is a bad idea? That’s how beached babies are made. Kojima was right all along.
I use Obsidian primarily and just push everything to git. Remember to gitignore
.obsidian/workspaces.jsonto prevent conflicts on multiple devices.
It’s always a logic bug that you will find the day after you forgot about how the code works.

1·1 year agoAfter booting in, switch to a tty, then start the de from there, so like I use plasma so I execute plasma-wayland. Check if that works, if so, then the problem lies with the login manager (sddm or gdm). If not post the error log and I will check if I can understand what’s wrong.

What in the holy fucking late capitalistic non sense is this?
