That happens so often that checking for spelling is the first thing I do now when something goes wrong.

Nothing in particular. I just want to get into an environment where people on my level share their stuff to motivate me.

In my experience, when you show your stuff to people that don’t make music they compare you to professional productions and I don’t think that is appropriate.

If you show it to people with a lot of experience it becomes to student/teacher like.

I want to get better and have fun, I don’t want to be successful in a business sense with this.

So yeah, just want an atmosphere that suggests I’m not alone in this.

This is not about if it is the right word to describe it, this is about reducing a group to a stereotype and how wrong that is. Call it cultural racism, culturism or some other shit that doesn’t hurt your feelings because you identify with it.

My point was that it feels racist to take a group/race/nationality/gender/sex/whatever and then say that those people in that group act all the same.

That is the mechanism of racism so it feels racist. And then one person said that it is not racist at all because it is not about race, it is about culture.

As if the mechanism and result differ because its another group :D

I also said that racism can come from a “positive” place. Like the Asian example. Which is still bad and racist. Some Asians aren’t good at math and their hate that people expect it from them.
