It’s stock Android TV on Nvidia Shield boxes. I’m doing firewall & DNS filtering and I’m only using Plex, Jellyfin and Wireguard. Ideally, I’d like to use a nuc style PC that has a minimal Linux and starts straight into the Jellyfin client.
I just want Jellyfin to show the same as the web UI on Android TV. If it did, I’d switch immediately.
I have 2 TCL Roku TVs. I don’t use Roku for either of them, I got them because they were good and cheap. I have them set to switch to HDMI at boot & use android tv boxes. I set that up with a temporary said, then deleted the ssid after.
It really sucks that we have to do things like that to use things we paid for.

I’m just going to leave this here.
Whenever you have to make a choice that involves Citi, always make choices with her happiness in mind.
I believe you, but I never knew about is shitheadedness until Trump
I haven’t done it other than for testing, but you can pair a fire Stick remote to a PC using Bluetooth and it works with Kodi.
Yes
Totally worth the subscription
This looks interesting, I hadn’t heard of it before. Do you know if they support sas controllers?
I was born in 1968. I definitely remember the duck and cover drills. Our school was a fallout shelter & they would rotate out the supplies every now and then. All the way up to high school. This is in the northeast.
Totally a typo lol
Why would you not be able to continue chat from the phone? I don’t all the time.
Do that while explaining how that contract clause works!
Try getting a used server. You can find one on labgopher. For the budget you have, don’t expect something great but it’ll be a start.
As a stepfather to 3 over 2 marriages, just treat them like people with respect and support them as much as possible. It can be hard, but try to give guidance without trying to impose authority. Love them.
That makes sense. I’m a lazy guy and I didn’t want to try testing so I went with a known quantity.
Lots of good ideas here. This is my take:
Get a bunch of Velcro cable ties. Start grouping things together. As you go, you’re going to get better placement ideas. Once everything is organized, you can decide the next step. Personally, I would look at having the PC in the bookshelf, and look for a way to put the cables in the wall.
If you do that, I’d suggest having 2 cable runs with a string looping through so that when you change things up you can easily pull a new cable.
