Elite Force was absolutely incredible! Considering you were trapped in like a ship graveyard the variety of environments was pretty impressive. The combat was fun, the story was interesting…could’ve used a little more ship exploration on voyager, though.
I’ve been wanting to take the leap, too. I’ve got Linux installed on my gaming laptop and I’ve been trying games one by one to see if they work. Next step is dual booting on my desktop and only switching to Windows when I absolutely can’t make something work. My biggest concern is that I have a bunch of games installed on various drives that are all Windows (NTFS?) formatted and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to run them on Linux. I really don’t want to have to reinstall all of them.

I turned the content filter to its most restrictive setting and it still gave him rainbow friends. I shudder to think what he might see if it was unrestricted.
We let him have Roblox for one. single. day. before we had to delete it. He found a rainbow friends server or whatever and was driving us fucking nuts chasing us around making rainbow friends noises and telling us all about the different color friends. It was exhausting.

It is funny, especially the earlier seasons. It’s just popular to hate on it because so many people like it.
I will admit, though, that some of the later content was pretty rough. It all felt pretty forced.

I hadn’t thought about that one. I occasionally use the word kiddo, but only to say, “hey kiddo!” I never use it to talk about my kids, like “we took the kiddos to the park yesterday.”
I don’t think it’s some latent psychological issue. I get along great with my mom, and I’ve never felt any resentment toward her. I’m also not bothered by words like mom, moms, mother, etc. I don’t even mind when my sons call my wife “mommy.” It’s just that one word, “momma,” that bugs me. I wish I had an explanation.

Might’ve been my kid. Took him to the doctor a few weeks ago and as soon as we got to the check-in desk he decided to throw up all over the desk, the rug in front of the desk, and me. I had extra clothes to change him into, but of course I didn’t bring extra clothes for me so I got to spend the next hour at the doctors office smelling like vomit.
I got banned for downvoting. Kind of hard to take people seriously when they’re so sensitive to criticism that the equivalent of a thumbs down emoji gets you banned.

Had that experience with Comcast about 2 weeks ago. Took 15 minutes and three attempts to get to a representative. The chat bot couldn’t figure out what I meant when I said I needed my cable buried again. On a side note it’s been 2 weeks and they still haven’t sent anyone out to bury it again 🤦♂️
I must be getting old, because I’m starting to prefer phone calls. I don’t want to spend 10 minutes teaching your goddamn chat bot how to understand my problem. I just want to tell another human being so it becomes their problem to fix it.
KVM switch looks like it could work, since I don’t want to switch a USB switch and then still have to switch monitor input. Just need to find one with both an HDMI input and a DP input.
I second all of your statements. I don’t care if my Apple TV is on WiFi, but my gaming desktop is most definitely hooked to an Ethernet cable. I also use a wired keyboard and mouse on it, but I’ll admit I have a cheap wireless keyboard and mouse for my work laptop because I didn’t want to deal with another set of cables on the same desk, and I can’t think of a good solution for both machines to share the same keyboard and mouse without having to switch the cables between them all the time.
Oh I definitely had the expansions, but even then weren’t there only like 2 decks you could visit?
Actually I think I still have the game and the expansion thanks to GoG.
