I think there can be a more nuanced conversation to be had about that, like say what “The smiths” were and what “Morrissey” actually seems to be. To be honest there’s not a whole lot of good art made by outward racists. None of those people will see a single dime from me but if you’re discussing in good faith i don’t necessary think it’s completely a dumb idea.

Of course it sucks feelings like you’re intimidating/freaking someone out. It sucks to be in a shop with another woman and it’s clear they are in their heads about all the dangers that I may be for them. I’ve done therapy over that. These feelings are damaging for both parties but I understand the feeling. I’m mot sure what the answer is, is some of the fear irrational? A little bit, sure. Though there is enough data that confirms those bias. So I’m not sure what the answer is, I just think (some from experience) that that type of constant fear is damaging to the psyche but at the same time the fears make sense and can be protective. It’s shit, I hate it. I empathize with both sides but I don’t know what the solution would be.

I am an “introvert”, I need alone time to reenergize. my field is mental health. I have a decently strong understanding of introverts and extroverts and understand it’s more of a spectrum than some either or type of thing. I said it fairly Blasé to be fair, though I do see a lot of socially awkward or social anxious use introversion as an excuse of avoiding development. Obviously I’m not saying everyone, if you feel you aren’t that then I’m likely not pointing to you.

Saying you’re an introvert is an excellent way to avoid developing your people skills. I swear people confuse it with social anxiety.

This is something that drives me crazy, where I live we don’t have food stamps but we have things that are similar. When I was going to miss a Mortgage payment and didn’t have food to eat I called one of the support lines and was told for the mortgage I had to wait for an eviction notice. For the food I had to email them my bank statements before they gave me like 50 for groceries. Forget programs line LTD, I know someone who had to spend at least once a week to remind his insurance he was off because of fucking cancer. Are there some bad actors? Sure. Is there enough to punish everyone? Fuck no.
