This “we have to kill the planet first or China will beat us to it” narrative is such bullshit. There’s *zero fucking chance" we ever catch up to them in any meaningful metric. Especially now that our schools are churning out brain dead dependents.

Drinking water and mountain home meals. I’m afraid their value will skyrocket sooner than later.

You will see me on the news when I set the speed record for breaking every single electronic price tag in an entire grocery store.

Your posts are confusing. I thought the capital L meant “pro capitalism”. I dunno if you’ve noticed but capitalism is doing great, as evidenced by the line going way up. Trump is doing irrevocable damage because the separation of power is completely gone. What are you even talking about?

Elon Musk is a fucking idiot that doesn’t know how anything works. Tax the rich.

Where I live there’s a lot of hippies, crust punks, and a lot of people in between. I’m pretty sure some people straight up don’t shower period. Maybe I can ask a stranger so it’s less terrifying. I’m sure I’ll happen upon one before long.

Perfect Strangers by Yob
Straight Up by Mares of Thrace (this is what you’re looking for)
More like a sprintpost about shitting amirite

Jfc I hadn’t even thought about TPMS’s. Do you have a source for that?

Oh my accuracy isn’t the issue lol. You’re going to shoot the camera from the front so you can hit the silver dollar sized lens? Ok obviously you’re a sharpshooter, got it. How far away are you going to be so that you’re not filmed by the camera you’re in front of? I’d want to be more than 100y away so 22lr is out. What cartridge is flat enough at 100y without overpenetrating injection molded plastic? We’ll just pretend there’s a clear line of sight with zero potential for passerby and no one will notice your dumbass laying in the grass with a rifle while you calculate drop and windage for your perfect shot.
Bonus points if you can tell us how you’ll disable the nearby flock shot detectors that will triangulate you and have flashing lights on you in a few minutes tops.
For those reading along, don’t do any of this.

The “gunshot” detection aka always on mics and Bluetooth tracking still work until the battery dies but yeah that’s a cheap and easy solution.

I want to know the answer to this for liability reasons. The cities say it’s their property and they have to pay to replace them when someone cuts one down, but when it’s a constitutional issue it’s flocks fault because it’s their equipment and software.

There’s at least a half dozen better calibers for the job but no firearm is a good answer due to the potential of killing someone on the other side of the camera.
Fuck Madison Cawthorn. Let that piece of shit slide into obscurity.

I am extremely conflict avoidant, hence the Lemmy thread haha. Not cheesy, just smells like old BO. Real old. Gym shorts that were re-worn a few times then left in a duffle bag in a hot car for a week. Times 2. A ~6ft radius outdoors.

Sometimes. Maybe with one of these people but I really think some of them are saving water or don’t like the feel of water on them maybe? Maybe it’s a protest against big soap. Looks like I’m going to have to get the courage to ask.

I totally understand that angle and I’m sorry you ever felt that way. I’m no stranger to depression and I know it’s possible seem “fine” while struggling greatly. Maybe that’s all it is but I hate to think my friends are struggling that bad without talking to me about it. I’m pretty close with two of them. We talk about that kind of stuff and they haven’t said they’re so sad they can’t shower. Pretty sure it’s a conservation issue, or maybe a sensory issue. Hmmm

It depends on the person apparently bc one of my friends has been like this for years, still smells real bad.

I should have clarified, the people I’m curious about in my life have homes that have running water AND a working hot water heater. They’re not mentally ill in an outwardly visible way, they have jobs, a social life, etc. Not saying they don’t have struggles, but they are a lot different than the person you describe.
What are we going to fuel these trucks with though
