Facebook and You tube haven’t been pushing Maga content, they’re just allowing it to exist. The feed itself isn’t set to give it to everyone or hide left-wing content for a default user.
Twitter is a different story, and should probably also get banned at this point. Elon is absolutely using it to push his own rhetoric.
Companies weaponizing algorithms for profit is different than governments weaponizing algorithms for all sorts of far worse reasons.

It’s about how China is controlling the algorithm for polical goals. From pushing its claim over Taiwan to interfering with global elections by showing(or hiding) speicifc content to sway peoples choices.
Step 1, figure out if any of your parents, grandparents, or in some cases great grandparents came from somewhere else. Many countries allow near descendents to get citizenship.

Facebook makes money by selling ads. Ads for stuff that idiots fall for are the most profitable.
Idiots want to be able to rage at LGBTQ+ people right now, so Facebook is going to allow it so those people spend more time raging on their platform (and therefore generating more money for Facebook)
They only had the restrictions in place before because the government was going to go after them for not tamping down the hate, but the incoming government clearly won’t care in the slightest.
There’s a way to bring those circles together. Focus on improving yourself.

Living on the west coast of Canada, where we talk about Tsunamis fairly regularly, I’ve never heard anyone add a T sound to Tsunami at the start. Only Sue-Nah-Me
It’s not at all like the T sound in Japanese followed by the S sound. The normal T sound in Japanese is pronounced by putting your tongue behind your top teeth and flicking your tongue down a bit. Tsu on the other hand starts with your tongue below your top teeth, and your cheeks pulled together a bit.
It’s also nothing like the TS in Mats in english.
Strange conceptions?
Tsunami doesn’t start with a T sound, It’s just a strange artifact of the romanization of the Japanese sounds. It’s not exactly a S sound either. The sound it’s supposed to be just doesn’t have an english equivalent at all, so they made up something close-ish but it does a poor job of communicating that.
The one Japanese mis-pronunciation that bothers me is that Tokyo only has two Syllables, To-Kyo, not To-Ky-O like almost all western people pronounce it as. Kyoto has the same problem, It’s Kyo-to, not Ky-O-To.
Meta, no. Twitter, yes.
Twitter should be banned as well at this point. They have absolutely weaponized it, but not for government purposes, it’s for Daddy Elon’s purposes.
Meta is just allowing the hate content, they aren’t prioritizing it to all users or something. My feed certainly doesn’t contain any of it.
