I’m sure the 2.7 million tonnes of bombs being dropped on them didn’t exactly tip that scale much…
The other side of this I’ve seen is vendors setting the price to really high levels when out of stock. I’ve heard this explained as “the algorithm will punish you” for going out of stock and “if someone places an order, you can always scalp one”
What’s funny about that is the “difficulty slider” doesn’t actually affect gameplay.
Something something something, fiduciary duty.

Like a 5lb white catfish.
To be further pedantic, milk also has a different specific heat which would overcorrect for the density difference by about the same amount.
The calorie is not an SI unit, it’s a cgs unit, and it isn’t coherent or order-of-ten with SI units.
Furthermore, I’m not aware of any market where you can buy energy in calories. Most will be in terms of Wh, mass, or volume, none of which would be coherent or order-of-ten with calories.

Not really. I stayed at the Venetian last year, and my my room didn’t include the sphere view in either the features or as an upcharge. (The sphere is “part of” the Venetian, so they’d be the most likely to advertise rooms with a view.) Their room is quite a bit further than mine was. They may have paid for the strip view, but without specific advertising they probably would not be able to tell ahead of time if they’d have LOS on the sphere.
This is not a shitpost.

All I can think of is a gruff, blue collar worker coming home, covered in oil stains. He hangs up his hardhat and lunch pail at the door. “You would not believe the day I had!” He says, “Some jackass put the 9 dies in the 6 press, and I had to spend all morning trying to pry open the hydraulics without fucking them up. After all that, I get a call that the serifs are too long on the ones and they’re getting sorted as sevens!”
You can still call wwv and wwvh.
No transuranics, no operations — you know, they take your element — there are some places, your oganesson leaves for school, comes back livermoriun. Okay? Without parental consent. At first, when I was told that was actually happening, I said, you know, it’s an exaggeration. No: it happens. It happens. There are areas where it happens
