My steam deck can play more Nintendo games than my switch.

I’m not a plex user but I’m butthurt because you’re being insufferable. Realize that not everyone is like you. You cannot apply your experience or tendencies to everyone. Sometimes, things are just too complicated for people to figure out.

Many people who have plex set up struggled to even do that. For them to then have to install multiple applications that don’t automatically work with default settings out of the box is asking too much for a not insignificant portion of plex users. Not everyone knows how to do proper self hosting. Not everyone can figure it out.
I mean, I get where they are coming from. Like nobody is stopping you from traveling across your country/as far as you can go without a passport. “Anyone” physically fit to do so can quit their job, lose their home and walk. You can try to catch and cook your own food. Or scavenge and beg. You can see sights and explore nature for free.
All that being said, that’s obviously not the type of traveling people want to do. It works if you’re already broke and young and fit (and in some countries, not a minority), but if you want to keep your job and go other places quickly, that shits expensive and the OP knows this and is just being pedantic by saying all you need is courage.
Yeah the difference is I don’t have to deal with hair outside of the shower :) It used to get in my face, I had to cut it, I’d have to get it just right when putting headphones on, and it would look weird after taking off a hat. To be fair, it was more than a couple inches long.
This is true, but I do that with an electric razor in the shower. It takes just a few minutes and I’m nice and warm and cozy in hot water while I do it. And if I skip a few days, it doesn’t matter (unless you don’t like the look of a little fuzz)
I did it last year and it was so worth it. I’m not close to having a receding hairline or anything. I just said “fuck washing and styling hair” and now I have a chrome dome and I love it.
Oh yeah I know all about that, I’m talking about what it actually uses within the JVM 😅 It’s a messy monster of a game once modded, and there’s really nothing you can do about it other than some slight optimizations here and there.
Is this how Costco keeps their hotdog combo so cheap?
It makes me cry when modded minecraft uses 100% of my CPU and eats up 20gb of ram. (This is only a little bit java’s fault)

Jellyfin watch status and sonarr. I do use mal but really only for looking up the list of shows airing this season and adding some that I want to watch to sonarr.
It’s all in one place and directly relates to the availability on my server. Just a couple clicks and it’s tracked and downloaded.
The discussion that you’re looking for doesn’t exist. The reasons you listed - people who don’t like AI simply think those reasons drastically outweigh the benefits. So much so that it’s not even worth discussing. There’s no deeper meaning to it.
Seems like you know the answer to your own question and you’re just looking to argue and tell people who dislike it they’re wrong.

Might be a big change but look into unraid. Dead simple. I’ll never use anything else for self hosting.

Hey I’ll play hundreds of hours of overwatch and minecraft with you if you want. Then at least you’ll know I’m real.

I have one of these in my town. It’s a cell tower dead center in the middle of town, and they boxed it up in a building-like facade and put that glowing logo at the top. Massive eye of sauron vibes. It’s the tallest thing in the city. At night you can see it for miles.
It can pass through. There is even an official Authentik guide on the various methods specifically for Jellyfin: https://integrations.goauthentik.io/integrations/services/jellyfin/
Same with Authelia, though I don’t have a link for that on hand.
Here is the video I followed for SWAG. Note that this (and most of IBRACORP’s guides, which are all fantastic) uses Unraid as the OS, which automates a lot of the processes.
And here is a written guide by the same group to go with or replace the video if this is more your speed: https://docs.ibracorp.io/swag-2/
I’ll be honest, even for “beginners” (which I was when I started this) this is still a lot to take in. Let me know if you run into any specific questions and I can try to help you.
But what about the rare third “data”?
