Ubisoft is developing a new turn-based tactics game set in the same universe as Rainbow 6 Siege, coming to current-gen consoles.

They’ll do anything to not make another Singleplayer Tactical Shooter Rainbow6 game.

    BG3 may have had an influence but I imagine they looked at games like Mario & Rabbids, Xcom, Gears Tactics, and others which all tend to sell well. These games play pretty differently from BG3.
