Watches video… Oh, oh no. To no-one’s surprise, he’s a nazi.

"My heart goes out… " Non-nazis hate this one weird trick. How gullible does he think people are.

Now knowing the context, it’s so…Musk-like.

Oh, they won’t realize what in doing if I pretend it’s symbolizing my heart going out towards the crowd…

*throws the most awkward and uncoordinated Fascist salute, ever*

Why would he turn away from the crowd and do the motion again if he was trying to show his heart going out to the crowd?

You would have to be an enormous idiot to believe in that excuse.

Yes, that would have been the excuse Elon would make should there be any backlash. “Oh no you guys it wasn’t a Hitler salute it was me throwing my heart out to you all very forcefully because I was taken be strong emotions I promise”

If you need some context, Musk is actively trying to influence German elections by advertising for the far right party afd. While doing something similar in the UK with the right wing Reform party, and calling for a neo nazi to be released from prison.

So there’s that. It doesn’t even matter if this was a nazi salute or not, because it was clear that he is a fascist before this incident.

Here’s a poster for the party Elon Musk is supporting in Germany. Do we still give him the benefit of the doubt? I don’t see much doubt to be had.

Nope. He does the salute twice before saying the ‘my heart goes out to you’ plausible deniability attempt. Which makes it much less likely to be just a simple gesture, and also makes it very very clear that the crown is cheering the salute, not the line which comes later.
