Oh hey, my dad did the same thing for his super rare disease. He actually pitched an experimental surgery to his doctor, and it worked extremely well and is now an option for others.

Oh no, we’re all just more concerned about affording to survive, and can’t be bothered to remember a detail about a disease from hundreds of years ago that is no longer a threat whatsoever.

The one in my hometown just went out of business 2 years ago due to the pandemic. It was $5 for adults, $3 for children under 14 and students of the local highschool if you present your student ID. They were an important part of the town, and practically everyone 2-3 towns over was talking about it when they closed.
No but it was a 140 year old building so I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened since I left
