I would google model number to look at a few reviews just in case there are glaring problems, especially in regards to heat.

This is incredibly cynical and untrue. There are plenty of ways to make friends around hobbies, but you do have to work at it, like most meaningful things. It also takes time. The internet can be isolating, but it also can bring people together via meetups and other avenues.

Next year will be the hardest year you’ve ever had, don’t let it turn you bitter and cynical, people are cruel because they are struggling, hurt, and broken, and turn that around to others. Try to keep your heart open
