I have 0 clue to who these accounts are, who the person are, what’s happening in NY and where the meme comes from. Anyone to enlighten me? Too lazy to do a quick search.
It’s likely just a bot. It’s a common tactic to claim an identity of authority and then make a statement. Almost always bots.
“I’m a liberal and I can’t stand x, so I’m voting for Republican!”
“I’m a doctor and because of x I don’t recommend to my patients to do y.”
They’re trying to steer public opinion with these posts. Some try to get fancy and use LLMs to make them so they’re not all identical. And so you get rediculous statements like the above. No human would vote for someone who killed their husband. Hence the disgusted reaction.
I’m not a NYC resident, so I can’t vote in their election, but I wouldn’t vote for Cuomo if I was!

As we have learned, many Americans really do think this way. It isn’t even a joke anymore. Americans will vote massively against their own interests so long as they think it might hurt people they dislike.
I refuse to automatically assume you cared about your husband, so your position as a widow means nothing to your argument, which doesn’t actually exists at all without that assumption.
